Because of  the coronavirus and lack of traffic and pedestrians, they decided it was the perfect time to repaint the zebra crossing!

Smart move and one of the most fun things I have done in London was crossing the street and posing for a couple of pictures -lol

I went there going on one year ago and am glad that I did so and didn't put it off and say maybe next year and then this virus thing hits....

I did Liverpool and London with some people that I knew.  We rented a car and the driver had experience (driving on the wrong side of the road)  for getting around Liverpool. It was so cool. A once in a lifetime trip for me. There were so many times I was naturally grinning and smiling and enjoying it in the now. I could write my version of my Liverpool experience and I would take up many pages here. We turned the rented car in when we went to London. As a small group a few of the people wanted to go to museums. A few of us took an Uber type of ride to Abbey Road.

When I saw it ... I was grinning as big as could be .... I was here after thinking about it for many years.

I saw the studios but it was the Zebra crossing that gave me the biggest grin and smile that I have had in years.

Of course I was original in my thoughts ( As a spontaneous thought)  I took my shoes and socks off and walked across the street barefoot. *Like that hasn't been done before.

                  What a busy road ...

People were good about giving each person their chance to cross the road. And of course the traffic - they were very good about knowing that they would be stopped or delayed by fans and photos.

I have my Abbey Road photo as a screen saver on one of my work computers. (Not with me in the photo).  I could not get in the middle of the road (safely) .... so my photo is a bit more angled toward the recording studio. But I lucked out and got one vehicle where the 28if VW  was . So it looked like an update on the photo.

Walked to Paul's old house in the area and enjoyed the day so very very much.

It was definately one of the big highlights of my time there.

                  Here There and Everywhere
