That line was written (and published) by Yoko many years before John said it in a 1980 interview, but John gets all the credit! (Not a dig at you Nancy! Just at the general thing!)

Not that I am a regular watcher of Family Feud, or if I was I would certainly not admit it, but John was mentioned on that show the other night... Name a famous John. Well, the first ten or so answers all failed in their guess of Lennon. In the meantime, John Mayer, John Legend, even John Smith.... I felt somewhat perplexed. Somewhat miffed that the obvious answer was being missed. Of course the top answer proved to be "John Lennon". I felt somewhat better..... I was getting a little annoyed and concerned that so many were oblivious. Faith restored

I watched my dvd again last night of the Ed Sullivan Shows that had The Beatles on them. Everyone including the other acts were just totally amazed and overwhelmed by them. I hear them mentioned all the time in the media. Great Thread Nancy!

There are websites devoted to Beatles references in film, TV and books. Offhand, I can recall Beatles mentions in Beverly Hilbillies, Get Smart, Green Acres, Gilligan's Island, Petticoat Junction, The Brady Bunch, To Sir With Love, Big Bang Theory, The Golden Girls, The X Files, Goldfinger, Flying Circus, The Intelligence Men aka Spylarks, Bless This House, Notting Hill...hundreds more than these though. But these are a few off the top of my head.

I was just now watching Fox News by accident, and up pops a photo of John and Yoko. They are about have on John's doctor the night he died to talk about something. Here I sit and there pops up John. Love John forever!
️ Edit: it says John's surgeon the night he died was not the actual doctor. So there are inaccuracies in who was the actual attending physician. ??? -
