David Lynch Foundation Concert
-
feact:
This concert is I think only for people with lots of money. It is a shame to ask 100.000 dollars. That is not good for Pauls image.
Paul isn't the one charging for the tickets. Its the organisers/promoters surely?
-
still waiting for news on this concert. They should move it to Madison Square Garden so more fans, er funds could be raised
-
I live in NYC and I have been to Radio City Music Hall for a lot of concerts and other shows. I have never seen General Admission offered for that venue, but in the David Lynch foundation Benefit Concert email it names Radio City and that GA tickets will be offered. Has anyone ever attended any events at Radio City that were General Admission? Thanks!

u can get premium seats in orch for 500 each or u can try to buy with general public on ticketmaster next week face is 90 each
-
When do the premium seats go on sale? Is there a pre-sale? I signed up on the website but still haven't heard anything
-
I'm waiting too, I find this very strange that we haven't heard anything-the concert is only a month away. Maybe they did credit checks on us-to see if we could really afford the VIP packages?????
-
I er emailed them to find out why the wait and apparently they are waiting for comformation from Paul's end for a number of things but it should be soon
-
Cool! Thank you for the info, Dani.

It's so cool that Paul is giving us so many opportunities to see him in the US! I am waiting on an email too but likely I won't be going to this event... Vegas is going to deplete my Pual funds for a little while... unless he decides to come South!

why haven't they publicized it or informed the people who signed up for email updates? if they expect to sell any tickets and gain support for their charity they should have the information out there.

Today I noticed this picture at the homepage of DLF: Ringo Starr is mentioned too. I don't know if it is new. I only know I haven't seen it before. Perhaps there will be more information about the tickets soon? edit: I finally discovered where the news about the 14 tickets for $ 100,000 came from: http://www.examiner.com/x-2082-Beatles-Examiner~topic69522-David-Lynch-Foundation
The highest premium package will be $100,000 and include 14 seats, plus soundcheck, rehearsal and backstage access, though there's no confirmation those paying this money will have access to either Ringo or Paul.
Until now I assumed it had to be a joke. I am afraid your world isn't my world anymore, Paul. And somehow that makes me feel sad. Mostly for you.

Nicely said Wunjo, just for big bucks. In a way I don't understands Paul. 100.000 dollars just to see a human, sorry I can do more and better things in life than to see him in a concert
-
dont blame Paul for it. Dont forget this is a benefit concert and is setting out to make cash. For such a small venue it needs the big bucks to be spent. Also remember that this is only the vip package or one of them at least. When you are after that type of money you can get it for those people. Have faith
-
I hope this is filmed for all those of us who won't be able to go.

Exactly. The David Lynch organization undoubtedly came up with that VIP price *precisely* because they had signed Paul to headline the show. Their point is to raise money and with Paul's participation, they can command very high prices. Paul is NOT setting the ticket prices.

Is everyone missing that this is a charity concert - and not one organised by Paul? Paul is not making money out of this.Like it or not, most charities are interested in big donations. The Adopt a Minefield galas were the same.
