Name that location

[quote="shaun"] Can't think of the name of the theatre but it was being run by either Brian Epstein or somebody in Brian's company at the time. Hopefully someone can remember the name of the place The Saville Theatre?

Correct! And Shaun was right that Brian Epstein leased it at the time. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saville_Theatre

Paris!! What film is this area/view from? You may have to go to the window to find out...

Help! Scotland Yard. But that stuff at Buckingham Palace was actually filmed at Cliveden. And yes, that was of course Paris, right before they "hit the big time" on the Ed Sullivan show. That was where they found out I Want To Hold Your Hand had hit #1 in the U.S.

yep! I was armed with a printout of part of the scene, and i think this is the actual spot on this pic - the phone boxes are diff ones and have moved up a few feet

[quote="Nancy R"][quote="shaun"][quote="paulfan11"]Which of Paul's compositions was performed here? Ecce......whatever it was called wink I loved walking around Liverpool Cathedral, pretty cool place (I was not there for the performance) I was thinking of Liverpool Oratorio, which was performed at the Liverpool Cathedral. Ecce Cor Meum was performed at Carnegie Hall in NY. Ecce was also performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London. And the Liverpool Oratorio was also performed at Carnegie Hall. D

Tittenhurst Park
Yep! First owned by John, then Ringo. Wow, just read that John bought the house plus 72 acres for ?145,000, sold it in 1973 to Ringo (doesn't say for how much) but then Ringo sold it in 1988 to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (President of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Abu Dhabi) for ?5 million!!! In 2007 the property's value was estimated to be ?30 million!!!!!!
