Is that the bus stop Julia was walking to?
You've got it. On the late evening of 15th July 1958, Julia left 'Mendips' (John's Aunt Mini's house.......about 100 meters to the left of this junction) with Nigel Whalley. They parted at the junction of Menlove Avcenue / Vale Road (where the LHS 40 mph sign is),Nigel walking towards camera and Julia, heading for the bus-stop, crossing over the dual-carriage way to the central reservation. I'm not completely sure but I don't think there was an opening in those days so there was a continuous reservation with a thick hedge she had to pass through. Sadly she was struck by a car on the opposite dual-carriageway (being driven left to right as viewed).

I suppose if you placed both buildings side by side there would be quite a difference.

I wasn't quite sure at first. I had originally posted bus stop by Forthlin! Yes, you are correct about the hedges. I remember our Fab Four Taxi guide telling us there used to be hedges on Menlove. I'm at work and don't have access to my pictures, so if anybody else has one they'd like to post, go for it!

Maybe don't guess the Liverpool ones unless everyone else is stumped! You're correct, though, that is Liverpool Town Hall where the Beatles were on the balcony in July 1964 for the premiere of A Hard Day's Night and were greeted by what seemed like the whole city in the streets. Who is this a statue of in Liverpool? (The front view tells the name) I was told to take this view as it humorously looks like she has a willy! (it is actually just the scepter she's holding)

Do you have a location to post johnnymain? This one can have 2 answers. The real (actual) location and what it was supposed to be in the movie. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v319/njr/NANCY-HP/Pictures/2011_08_31/IMG_1058_zpsadcbf4a9.jpg
WE'RE OUT!! AHDN steps behind the Hammersmith Odeon
Yes! Supposedly the back of the theatre they were filming the show in (wasn't it the Scalia?) but was actually the rear of the Hammersmith Odeon. Do you have one to post Shaun? Anyone can jump in anytime! Meanwhile, here's another famous locale:

The BeaTles had photos taken at this location, ones where they were wearing sunglasses, I believe

Yes, and no. This specific spot was where a certain music video was filmed. Name the video. The location is Chiswick Park. May, 1966.
