Sgt. Pepper re-issue

Got my boxed set a couple of weeks ago for EUR100 (including shipping) from Amazon France. Should be here by next week.

Nancy R:
Yikes! Why the price discrepancy between the U.K. and U.S.? We only paid about $125 including taxes and you paid ?140 which would be about $180!!
Don't get me started... Always the same, that's why my local store is happy to be selling two, maybe three copies the first year of a Archive Release boxset. The normal retail price of 'Flowers' is 170 euros over here, that's 190 USD (and would've been 240 USD around 2013/2014 when the Euro didn't fall so deep yet ).

That's absurd. I hope you did not pay those prices. I bought mine on ebay for 174 Australian dollars (with free shipping), which is about 133 US dollars.

disappointing that it dropped to #4 from #1. It would have been cool if it stayed at #1 throughout the summer like it did 50 years ago.

Bought the vinyl a couple of weeks ago, saving for the CD box, wondering why people in the UK just don't order it cheaper in the US?

I year you l2t, I love the Sgt. Pepper reissue! I own both the LP and CD versions. However, I must tell you, the best overall sound quality still lies in the underground!
