What if Paul did this Buddy Holly number?

What if Paul did this Buddy Holly number?
I'd be disappointed, since he has so many great tunes of his own that he never plays.

Oh...I am totally with you on that...but this is just if he needed to add a Buddy Holly number.

He does It's So Easy in the sound checks, that would be the one to do. He's also done Maybe Baby.
-
I have a feeling this Saturday nights concert will be the most "press covered" McCartney show since Paul toured America with Wings in 1976! Wecome back to the U.S., Paul!!!
-
Just one more week! Who will be there?
-
i love Buddy Holly, I'd love to hear some Buddy Holly and love to hear Paul sing it!

Paul is still not 100% well and several of the dates have been postponed until October. http://www.paulmccartney.com/news-blogs 'Out There' Tour To Resume July 5 in Albany. "I?m sorry but it?s going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again. I?m feeling great but taking my docs' advice to take it easy for just a few more days. Look forward to seeing you all soon.? ? Paul McCartney Paul McCartney has confirmed that he will, however reluctantly, heed medical advice to rest up just a bit longer to fully recuperate from the virus that forced the postponement of his recent dates in Japan and Korea.

What exactly speaks to him understanding "the emotional importance of starting the tour in Lubbock?" If it was that important, the whole tour would have been pushed back five weeks to start it there.

With the gap between the August and October dates, Lubbock will still (sort of) be an opener...for the second leg of the tour.

Sure, I suppose so.

For those os us seeing Paul on October 15 in Atlanta, it means we will be seeing him on the first birthday of New coming out. Maybe we can expect Birthday to open the show followed by New.

i'm afraid i don't get it? Buddy Holly. ROOTS OF ROCK N ROLL? Did I fail to connect the dots? Bad on me. You know Paul loves Buddy, right? You know he owns the rights to Buddy's music, right? And for Texas this is important. Does that make sense to you? Anyway, were you coming to this? i though maybe it was close enough to N MX you could come. can you in October?

No, I am not going to Lubbock for the show. I can't afford it, that's why he won't play New Mexico, right? We can't afford his show. If I can't afford it in NM, certainly I can't afford it in another state or city. Look. I am a fan. And if he plays NM, I will buy a ticket to see him. The way I do when the Rolling Stones played here and Elton John played here. I am a fan. But I do not travel any more to see these artists, none of them. I did that when I was young, and won't anymore. BTW, Buddy Holly recorded all his hits in NEW MEXICO!
