Thanks Paulmusic, glad you like the pictures.....and thanks heykittay & love2travel , Paul does look so young, but I don't think he's changed a great deal, and has a very youthful manner about him - still a great appetite for life -music -art and discovering.... keeps him young I think! He's so creative and an inspiration..I hope I'm as prolific when I'm Pauls age...in art of course, and obviously I can't play a note on a guitar! It must be so difficult to continually write great classic songs as Paul does, he makes it seem so easy, so very talented.. a still very youthful Paul... in a painitng I've done in watercolour, based on the recent excellent live album 'Good Evening New York City' Kevin.

Yes, Paul is incredible guy: so much ideas, so much energy... "He makes it seem so easy." I completely agree with this sentence. -

Great watercolour Kevin. Paul makes music look so easy, and you make painting/drawing look so easy! Paul is indeed eternally youthful.

Paul does have so much creative energy, I think you're right Kiriwana. He also does seems to be eternally youthful hey_kittay...I also like the way he sets musical trends, and seems ahead of his time...ie. when he experimented on his McCcartney II album with electronic music. I love 'Temporary Secretary'... Obviously the beatles were so original in what they did. I agree I'm sure I'll still be painting away when I'm 64 Paulmusic, as long as I can hold the paintbrush still! De Kooning did some great later works later on in his life. Picasso also did some marvelous later works looking back to old masters works...so can draw inspiration from their superb creativeness! Hans Hoffman also developed his 'push and pull' abstract works later on in his life. Superb painter Hans Hoffman was. Thought it would be a good idea to do a painting for each of Paul's major Tours as I've done .....1973, 1976, 1993 and here is 1979..... watercolour on paper again....he's done so many! I can't keep up. Kevin.

Seriously.Thanks Kiriwana, an exhibition sounds a great idea! I could even supply the cheap wine for the private view! Seriously, a really good idea, I'll have to think where I could have a show.... Maybe combined with fans recollections would be good. from the 1989/90 Tour.... this is a watercolour I've just done. Paul always seems to be really enjoying himself on stage, and I think this painting shows that.

Thanks dekooningartist, glad you like the watercolour. It was a great tour love2travel, I thought the song choices and performances were great. One of Paul's most memorable tours in my opinion. Paul used to do a Buddy Holly week in September. As Buddy Holly was born on the 7th September, I thought I'd commemorate that with this small drawing... Kevin.

of course patpatpatti, I'd be glad to. Thanks justdippee, Paulmusic and hey_kittay.. here's another drawing, of Linda, I love the soft focus image, and it was the sleeve for her Wild Prairie single. It's always very emotional I find at Paul's shows when he performs 'My Love' a song he wrote for Linda, and a song I was listening to ....on my ipod, whilst doing the drawing, it's such a beautiful song and a lovely tribute for Linda by Paul. Kevin.
I've put it in a frame and this is it on my wall...you'll have to excuse the wallpaper! (I didn't choose it).
