I have just purchased this poster. It measures 82 inches x 60 inches. How rare is it?

You've just poured salt into any open wound, Carlos.

Maybe that poster will bring good luck to this thread and Paul will return to Australia after Japan!

If no one has wiped their ars* on it, then I'd say it's probably unique!

I have one of the material street banners. You know the really long ones, I think it is about fifteen feet long, which they hang from posts along the street? I've never seen another one of those available. I still have my ticket for Melbourne as well Cheers Chrissie

My daughter spent 2 years in Australia and went back in France at the end of last year but I continue to read this thread and I still hope a Paul's gig (or several) for you. I thought of you when I read that on a French fans forum : McCartney New Album Release date : mid october 2013 New Single : Mid Sept First airing on radio : 1st week of sept TV appearances in sept and Oct US dates in oct Japanese and Australian dates in Nov European dates in dec ps : Half of a new FIREMAN album has already been recorded, for a 2014/ 2015 release Source: la page FB de McCartney Wings (alias Etcetera) IT IS NOT AN INFORMATION but the guy who posted that generally has serious sources (he is involved in show business). Of course in France, the most important is the release date of the new album and the European dates in December, but I cross my fingers for you.
-
True, but he's always on safe side. Not saying he's lying, but he's saying this after McCartney announced the album for October, Japan was announced for November... Yeah, no shit a single will drop one month before the album, and he will tour EU in December like 2009, 2010, 2011... Still, if there was one chance since 2002 Australia gets to see McCartney, it's 2013!
-
Assume for a moment the OZ dates are going to happen in November. Seeing the Japanese shows are now public knowledge, would we assume that then Australian dates must also be announced soon?

In some cases he has announced dates with not to much advance notice so anything is possible.

Paul's concerts in South America concerts are always announced 4-6 weeks in advance, so there is still plenty of time for Australia to be officially confirmed. What was it like in 2002? I mean, how far in advance were those Australian shows announced? Also, sometimes later shows are announced first. For example: Warsaw, Verona and Vienna (late June) were announced before Brazil (early May). Japan has been announced, but the Australian shows could happen either before or after the Japanese tour. By the way, I see a pattern with Japan: in 1993, 2002 and 2013, concerts during the second and third weeks of november. The 2002 Australian concerts were scheduled to happen after Japan, so I have a feeling it will be the same this year. If the Australian shows are announced, my bet is they will happen between november 23 and 30.

Thanksgiving vacation in Australia? I can handle that. Fleetwood Mac is down there in late November as well.

Ticketek do that based on rumour nothing else . For all they know if it did happen it might be a ticketmaster venue not ticket so take it with a grain of salt. I have seen these rumours now going back 10 years.
