Did Elton get angry in the middle of a song and just leave?
Basically, He was like "stop the song, I can't go on with this" and just got up and left poor Billy Joel up there on his own!
Wow that's so unprofessional! Like he threw a temper tantrum.
I like when Billy slides under Elton's piano to fix the pedal, and declares they need a screwdriver!
....thats what they all say
-
Yeah that was pretty funny, I'm glad I got to witness it, as Billy said "you don't see too many rock n roll f**k ups any more!"
-
Hmmm, I've seen Elton twice and he was great with the audience. Maybe he was having an off night? Storming off the stage due to a foot pedal is kinda extreme. He should have handled it better but it must be terribly annoying not to have equipment work properly. Anyway.... This year so far I've seen: My fav actor James McAvoy in a play in London, UK in February Canadian singer/songwriter Serena Ryder on April 4th Paul at The Hard Rock in Vegas on April 19th The Beatles/Cirque show LOVE on April 20th Brit singer Adele on April 29th James Morrison in a club on May 7th Riverdance on June 2nd RAIN:A Tribute to the Beatles on June 6th The Fab Four on June 19th Will be seeing: Paolo Nutini on July 31st The 40th Anniversary of Abbey Road (Classic Albums Live) on September ? Rob Thomas on November 4th That's a pretty good year!

I agree with you PaulaJ.....Elton is usually great with his audiences and it is surprising that he did that??? I have to say though, I have seen him on film throwing a temper tantrum behind the scenes and I had to laugh Doesn't bother me ....I still love him! Wow, you did have a good year....love most everything on your list...good for you!

I'm off to see Ray Davies in December at the Cambridge Corn Exchange.I saw him on his last tour a few years back and it was fantastic, the only negative thing about the show was the fact the venue was half empty.Ray Davies is one of Britain's greatest and most influential songwriters and it was though he had been forgotten by the public, they should be ashamed.
