I saw him about 20 years ago in a small venue in upstate New York. He really connected with the audience and gave a great concert back then as well.

ok cute story So for rockmed last night I was at the Jonas Brothers, anyone ever hear of these guys, they are right up there with Hannah Montana and they are sponsored by Disney !!!!! So we give free earplugs at all shows and last night we went through over 3 boxes, not cuz the music was so loud but cuz the entire audience consisted of girls, ages 7-16, screaming in a high pitch constantly. Our patients consisted of girls that had their seats collapse while standing on them trying to see, some crowd syndromes, a lost child, a few bumps and bruises and one little girl who was quite special. So I am totally prepared to HATE this teeny bopper band, did some googling on them and saw they are teens, raking in the dough, and the girls love them. Went out to watch their opening, saw a great lightshow and all the screamers are singing and dancing and I got a call to a girl who was up on the lawn, and needing oxygen and a wheelchair to bring her down. I went and met her, with her sister and found this cute young girl, on her 16th birthday, with some complex unnamed autoimmune disorder who had her own medications for allergic reactions and a extensive medical history. her sister answered questions for me as we brought her down. She seemed like a lot for us to handle at a concert. At the clinic last night, we had no doc, so I called her parents and allowed her to give herself some benadryl, now this girls allergic type reaction was set off by the grass, the crowd pushing and shoving and stress. It was very upsetting for her then to be missing her favorite band, playing on her birthday, but she was complaining of her hands being numb, short of breath and she was not looking so good. Funny thing happened next, Mr Jonas ..... dad/manager of the boys came into Rockmed and wanted to see the poor girl that was doing so badly. Well not only did he stop her hyperventilating. she nearly stopped her breathing altogether. He expressed how bad he felt for her being rushed by the crowd, missing the show, and wanted to do something to make up for her experience. He then invited her and her sister (and her parents which were already enroute) to go backstage if she felt better and wanted to m,eet the boy. Well she was still not able to go but was already looking better. She did end up going to the VIP section, to meet the boys, and was given pictures and front row tickets to their next performance. She stayed with me for about 30 more minutes, as we watched the benedryl and epipen do its thing, and then we released her to backstage. Needless to say, this cute child whose sweet 16 was nearly ruined by a bunch of screaming wild girls, had the best birthday one could ever hope for and i so wanted to hate them, but the dad won me over, this teeny bopper band isnt all bad _________________
