I saw the Guess Who preform. They are a fantastic band. American woman! I put Three Dog Night over many other rock bands. Never saw them in concert. Jeramiah was a bullfrog!
I like 'em, but the truth is that Three Dog Night was a vocal group. No one played instruments, and they wrote very little -- if any -- of their hits. There are many great Three Dog Night tracks out there, but it's not really fair to call them a "band."
A what? http://www.discogs.com/artist/Three+Dog+Night Its a lie of the British. Cause they know they come back!!!!
This 1975 live video appears to support my assertion: Three Dog Night is a trio of male singers with a backing band.
Good performance. -

Tina Turner renounces her U.S. citizenship to become Swiss Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2268405/Tina-Turner-renounces-American-citizenship-Swiss.html#ixzz2LeeIWmt4
Wow the last I heard she had a home in France and studied Buddism. I was proud of her when she made a comeback after what Ike did to her. Brave heart!
I'd always known that she loved France. I didn't realize that she'd moved to Switzerland. When she was on Oprah in '97, Tina's southern France mansion was featured in a vignette. Then, on Oprah's 50th birthday episode in 2004, john Travolta said that Tina had flown to the show all the way from Switzerland.

Triplets Love Paul:
As others have noted, no other concert experience compares with that of Paul's. Having written this, most addictive after Paul... U2
As I've said many time before: U2 is the "Beatles" of my generation. The most influential band of the last 30 years.

Good performance.Well I guess the thread is about single preformers mostly anyway. But I love the writers of the band three Dog night. This guy is great.

Between the ages of 14 and 23 (1969 to 197 I saw Tom Jones about 7 times. He's the only one I was addicted to besides the Beatles/Paul.

My mother was crazy about Tom Jones when I was a young girl. So was I he was of the few albums we had in the house. I spinned them a great deal. I had the head phones on and would dance around singing Pussycat. We never had any Beatles Albums. They never played them on the radio either. When they were popular. Maybe my folks just didn't listen to stations that played them?

Who do you enjoy seeing?
Springsteen is the only other one that comes remotely close to McCartney.
-
I would have loved to see Queen in their day....... Those I have seen: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Billy Joel Bon Jovi Foo Fighters
-
I saw Pink Floyd 6 times from 1971 t0 1987 doing Meddle, Dark Side Of The Moon/Wish You Were Here twice, Animals/Wish You Were Here, The Wall, A Momentary Lapse of Reason. They were all incredible concerts. I travelled hundreds of miles, and they were a must see. I've seen Springsteen twice. Two others I can see being "Addictive"...Rush and U2.
-
Springsteen. His shows are the only ones that come close to Paul's.
-
Queen

Bruce Springsteen...the best concert I've ever seen, 8/23/81 at the L.A. Sports Arena. I've been a fan of his ever since. My article on Five collectible Paul McCartney related compact disc titles http//marshfish.hubpages.com/hub/Five-collectible-Paul-McCartney-related-compact-disc-releases

I saw them with Jason's dad between Zeppelin IV and Houses of the Holy...and believe me they were amazing! If they tour again next year, I'll be first in line for tickets.

don't be stupid none, 50 years this august.

Yes, Springsteen too. I strongly prefer his shows to his records. He mades 3 minute songs last 6 or 7 minutes and makes them become symphonies or so... including solos, making the audience sing, speeches, anything... like this 12 minute version of Light Of Day, an almost ordinary song becomes something else
then there is wonders like this, Jungleland live in NY, 11 minutes or like this, featuring me (yes, really, lol) in Barcelona, anyway any live version is better than the studio version of Waitin on A Sunny Day -
Another vote for Springsteen here - the only other artist besides Paul that I've seen a double-digit number of times. While I've seen a number of folks more than once (and hundreds of performers over the years), the only other artists jumping out at me that I'd put in the "will see whenever possible" category are Patti Smith and Arcade Fire.
