I still find this to be a disgusting sell out. But that's just my view, clearly Paul doesn't look at the damn name of the venue he's playing. Enjoy the show!

I saw this coming, but I expected Churchill Downs

On June 19, Paul will return to the Smoothie King Center for the first time since his Driving USA Tour in 2002. * Paul will play his first shows ever in Louisville KY and Albany NY, respectively, June 26 at the KFC Yum! Center and July 5 at the Times Union Center. * July 7 will see Paul returning to Pittsburgh?s Consol Energy Center for the first time since opening the arena with a pair of instantly sold out shows August 18 and 19, 2010. You think for a second Paul doesn't know this! Just 'cause a veggie is playing KFC Center doesn't mean he supports KFC. The more controversy the better!

What am I missing? What's wrong with playing the Yum! Center (which I've never heard of, by the way)? However, I do realize that arenas change names frequently -- just depends on who makes the best bid to sponsor the building. The main arena in my city has had about five names in the last 18 years.

Yum! Brands owns KFC, which Paul has heavily criticized in the past.
-
REALLY never thought this would happen! I am definitely surprised Paul agreed to it, but I'm certainly NOT complaining. FINALLY PAUL IS PLAYING MY HOMETOWN!
-
Cannot WAIT for Paul and the Band to come to my home town. Has anyone seen any information about presale opportunities? I need help because I want to do sound check!

I must be missing something. I see no forum pre-sale information, just American Express on 4/10/14, then general on 4/14/14. Is there something I've not seen? Thanks for the help.
-
It takes a little time for all that to get sorted. Hang in there. Usually, presales happen a day or two prior to the official ticket dates.
-
I thought I read that they go on sale tomorrow the 9th at 10:00 I was just at the Yum center two nights ago to see Billy Joel..I like the venue and location..I will be seeing Paul here on the 26th and the next night I have tickets for Ringo in Michigan ...sound like one long road trip....
-
Could be. I just wanted it to be understood that pre-sales aren't instantly in effect upon announcement of the concert.

Congratulations. Maybe he'll do "Blue Moon Of Kentucky"?
-
Super surprised! He's never played Louisville before and he's only played in Kentucky once in 1990 so we would be kind of due. I will say I'm super happy to get to see him in my hometown.

That's what I was thinking! Maybe!

I agree that it wasn't overlooked about who the sponsors were before booking had been arranged. I ask what have other artists or even himself done in similar situations?

Great news for you guys!
