I want a PM from you, please!

I don't know if I can put the link here though. Martin?
No we cannot host any links to download sites or any site featuring unauthorised copies of Paul's performances. I shall have to remove names of such that could be googled as well. Martin

We just watched the Halifax Eastlink PPV High Definition concert and it was amazing because it showed very few audience shots, as many had been asking for, and also Audrey's arm signing was featured prominently.

... dsmpaul, what is the file size of most of your pics? Which do you think is the clearest?
Most of them are between 6MB-8MB. What do you think of this one?: http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu218/dsmar1/CIMG0222.jpg And this one: http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu218/dsmar1/CIMG0027.jpg
Wonderful shots.

OMG, it's a good thing Halifax wasn't this weekend with Hurricane Bill approaching Nova Scotia! All my new NS friends, batten down the hatches and stay safe!

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the projected storm path. The long range path has the remnants hitting the upper UK later in the week. 5 Day Projected Path - click here Podgie (just checking the hurricane center) Monkey

I'm wondering how high the tides will be in the Bay of Fundy once the storm surge hits! (For those who are unaware, the Bay of Fundy has the highest tides in the world).

For anyone that made the trek out to Peggy's Cove while they were in Halifax for Paul's show, this story says 20 minutes after the photo (see link) was taken the rocks were inundated...so if you had been there and know how high up those rocks are, well, that's some pretty powerful storm. Wonder how high up it got at Hopewell Rocks, NB! http://www.cbc.ca/canada/nova-scotia/story/2009/08/23/hurricane-bill023.html

Just watched this DVD again and noticed that Audrey's happy face is also featured twice during Sgt. Pepper.

It was on the TV news, too. Those people were lucky not to get killed! It's one of those places people take too many chances at, like Ben Nevis in the "origianl" Scotland. There have been too many deaths at both those places because people just refuse to believe how dangerous it really is. I'm envious of people watching the concert again on PPV. I'm wishing they'd copy it to DVD at put it out that way, but I expect if they do a DVD it will be a compilation of the whole summer of touring. I actually do want to see the other concert material from the other locations, the little adventures and banter at each place, but of course the Halifax one is special to me since I was there. Maybe if they could cover all the special moments in an extra material section of a compilation DVD, and do the concert itslelf as a compilation? I'm reluctant to get set up to be able to see PPV. We'd have to pay a regular fee to have too much TV available. If it was available we'd probably watch too much. I like DVDs because it's easier to control how much material you have available. I didn't have a TV in the house for four years so it wouldn't distract me from creative projects. Now I'm finding the internet a mixed blessing. I had no idea watching one live concert would blow me away and send my brain into a Paul McCartney binge. You can turn off the TV, but how do you turn off the Paul music switch in your brain? On the plus side, now I can understand the fascinating historical phenomenon of Beatlemania like I never could before!

I also found liverpoolbride's peace sign above the girl with the teddy bear! LOL! And you are correct Lee...just the right amount of fan shots. BUT leaning towards too many...again.

The quality of the PPV is excellent. I, as well, hope that they are able to produce a DVD from this. The concentration on Paul and the band is just what I would like to see throughout. Was it the local cable group who filmed this? Whoever, it was a great job! PS And the PPV was for the entire Halifax concert.
If you watch the credits of this it says the Executive Producer is Paul McCartney and it was produced by Paul's company MPL. I would say an official DVD release of Halifax is not out of the question.

Thanks for posting that PPV You Tube clip. I live in the States, and of course could not get this PPV show , so it was great to see this. I also went to Citi Field show in NY, but for me the highlight was Halifax. I'd never been to that part of Canada before either and found everyone so friendly and polite, and your city quite wonderful, liveable, walkable...a great experience all around!
Were you following me! Walkable? Didn't find the hills so walkable! But adore the people. You should look at my slide show I put on youtube, liverpoolbride1

To borrow one from Dave......"there is no OFF postion on the genius switch" .....and you didn't have to live through 'Beatlemania' to have caught it.....and you never get over it!

Hey...Can anyone tell what my new avatar is? HINT: it's a foot, but where is the foot?

If your real name starts with "S" I know who Dave is - other wise - Help! I believe you the bug never dies. I was at a science fiction convention party where they were playing "Guitar Hero." A woman said she'd play if Beatles music was put on it, so I told her I'd been to Halifax. Then she asked if she could touch my arm to transfer some Beatle! She was a first gen fan. At the same convention a dealer was selling Beatles collector cards along with all the Trek etc. parapernelia. I don't remember seeing any other music groups represented. It seems like after the concert Paul/Beatles were popping up everywhere. Maybe I just didn't notice it before so much. A little while after the concert the CBC was reporting about the European seal product ban, they put a clip of Paul on in his funny outfit with big ear flaps. Someone must have been getting cute on the network, because later in the same news cast they did an article about an airplane, and showed another clip of Paul, with the Beatles this time getting off a plane at an airport and waving to screaming fans. I didn't mention this in my little concert report, but it was so cool seeing Paul do Mull of Kyntyre in "New Scotland." I grew up with pipe band music in the house. It was funny to hear Paul say in some interview about not spending lots becuase he was celtish. It really is true, my Mom was the same way (so I pickedit up, proud of my Scotish ancestry). Liverpool Bride, I see a foot bottom right corner, kicking or pointing at the figure. That's cool Paul was exec producer of the PPV. I don't know if that means he had any creative input or his name is there from the company ownership.
