So now everything is going to be the same for sure, maybe in Europe he will add a song or two but nothing dramatic

Any news about Vancouver soundcheck?

I will see 3 shows in May and it seems I will see the same setlist except for one song. Damn it.

Just curious if any more guests joined for night #2.
Jimmy Fallon (for some reason?) apparently joined Paul onstage tonight for "I Saw Her Standing There."
YUK.

Did you really think they'd all be that different? I go to multiple shows a year when they're close, but I don't expect any change but usually only 1-4 songs change anyway.

1 song is one thing, 4 songs is another. Now if he changes 4 songs from May 17 to May 19 I will be one happy chap.

Why should he?

RMartinez:
Why should he?
Because when he performs consecutive concerts at the same venue it is pretty obvious many fans will attend both.

Of course. But a lot of folks keep saying the set list is perfect and people keep buying tickets even though he doesn't change up the set list much at all. I hope so, for your concerts. Maybe even before then we will see some variety. I keep saying, he should rotate into the set the sound check tunes, that would even mix things up a bit.

He has a 10 day break between Minneapolis and my country, so hopefully he will come into his senses and mix up the soundcheck songs with the main show songs a bit. I mean... those of us who don't have USD 1400 to spend on a concert ticket want to hear Every Night, Bluebird and others as well. I also think NO ONE will complain if he removes "Let me roll it" and the Foxy Lady bit followed by the Hendrix story he's been telling audiences since 2002.

Dramatic change in setlist between the last Vancouver show in Nov 2012 and Seattle in July 2013. He added 5 new Beatles tunes as well as switching a few older ones up, not to mention Long Tall Sally (and 4 other tunes) with Nirvana, AND new Wings songs. Both sets seemed sort of customized for each city. Felt really lucky.

Any news about Vancouver soundcheck?
I can post it later, I hate using my phone for long posts. No idea why Jimmy Fallon was in Vancouver. He's based in New York, not LA, btw, to correct the previous poster. Voice held up very well for show 2.

Jimmy Fallon is in Vancouver filming a movie. I saw the first show which was fabulous. Interesting that two of the highlights were Live and Let Die and Mull of Kintyre, both non Beatle songs. Macca's voice held up well except for songs like Here, There and Everywhere. Much as I love that song, it's probably one he shouldn't do anymore. Lovely tribute to George Martin with Love Me Do and his singing to Diana Krall on My Valentine made that song memorable. Other highlights for me included hearing In Spite of all the Danger, Aa Hard Day's Night and Temporary Secretary. I mean, who would have imagined Macca ever playing that song! Anyone seeing a future show will be in for a treat.

Soundcheck #2 setlist... Blue Suede Shoes/Jam Honey Don't Coming Up Day Tripper Let Em In Miss Ann San Francisco Bay Blues Things We Said Today Ram On Bluebird Lady Madonna After the crowd left ran through Mull a few times.

I think Jimmy is in town working on his Roller Coaster opening at Universal next year, lots of video game work is done here in Vancouver.

Looking at photos from previous shows, seems he's wearing the same colored jacket (grayish blue) every night. Does anyone have any photos from the second night in Vancouver (4/20)? Thank you.
