Awesome! I've been dragging my feet in my plans to form a band. It's something I'd like to do for at least a year -- while I'm still (relatively) young and pretty. More importantly, I hope I have enough talent for it. Good luck, Ollie. Your band -- er, YOU'RE gonna need it. Kidding!
I don't get the joke I really don't get it
You don't get the joke - this means YOU'RE BANNED!!!
I still don't get it. You must remember my English is not very good. Especially for jokes. I don't have any street talk experience... "we alll came out to Montreaaaux...."
Audi said you're going to need luck with your band. THAT is the joke, Oliver! He said he was kidding, he didn't really mean that you need any luck.

as not pretty much is going on here... Time for revival Hey Jude-The Beatles and me I added: -another lead vocal, sometimes it sounds just like Paul so it's hard to hear there are 2 voices really -another piano, playing a little bit different than original -a very distorted electric guitar
This is sounds pretty good. Thanks for sharing. Very nice guitar sound!

It's an oldie, I think I posted this in August 2009. It's one of my fav things I've ever done. It just makes me smile. I even miss the guitar on the original now. And believe it or not, it's the only impossible duet thing I've done over a Beatle or Macca's track. I could never do song all by myself, I don't have a big chorus of people around... so I needed to go back to 1968...
-
Hey I don't believe in luck either... I should make a song about it... "I don't believe... in luck I don't believe... in vocal ranges... I don't believe... in Elvis (sometimes) I don't believe... in autotune" (silent laugh just like the Laughing Yoga Man :lol

Looks like a few of us need a course in Comedy 101.1 : The implication of my joke was that the band would need the luck. Geez... if ya' have to explain it...

Maybe I'm starting to get it. Hey it's hard to get jokes in your third language. hmmm... they would need the luck if I sang. Then they'll have to deal with my... divo attitudes, you know. I would only sing the way I want to sing and etc. But as only a keyboard player I'm not hard to get along. I know from experience.

And George Harrison! I think he was a producer of the Life of Brian and appears in some scene.

hmm... no! divo not diva . I mean the attitude... well, my fav band is Queen (after The Beatles). The most divo-attitude band ever. "We're the fussiest band in the world, we can be a real pain in the ass" Freddie Mercury. Well, they crowned themselves. I still don't know who I "accepted" to sing some song mimicking (you know what song, the one on work) Paul's way Once a year is not bad they say... but you won't get me to sing a song mimicking Johnny Cash

well (or should I say weeeeelll)... a week ago I was doubting which song to cover: Unchained Melody, Blue Moon of Kentucky or Whattaya Want from Me. So in the end I've done them all, more experience to me. I've done keyboards and vocals for each and what there's left now is to finish the cooking or should I say set the table. Equalize, mix, and upload it to youtube as I do lately. Blue Moon Of Kentucky: Elvis did it fast, Paul did it slow and fast, I decided to add a slower part at the beginning, sort of gospel like. Unchained Melody: Quite similar to the Righteous version only slower and with simple synth strings. Whattaya Want From Me: only with piano at the background, I change the end a bit, cause I don't like to do harmonies to myself. I get a little mad at the end, but not more than Adam Lambert. Same key than the original versions, so I don't have to think about which key to use...

here they are, going back to my roots about sound... no vocal compression and no reverb except for a little reverb in Blue Moon Of Kentucky, simply equalized. [Blue Moon Of Kentucky[/color">](
