"I think I'll do"... I'm not sure yet. As people like us don't stand a chance to win against musicians that have thousand of fans.... the goal would be having fun. "I hope you're having fun"

HEY everybody!!!
MAYBE I'M AMAZED Watch out for the magical painting!!! Here is the video that me and Fil FINALLY did together, a project we decided to do already back in 2008!!!!!! But time takes time, as you probably already understood, in this company of people! The projects are slow and sparse, last few years at least....But now the egg is finally laid, you decide if it's a good one or not! About the making of the video...the final version was not the perfect take for me at least, I did a couple, missed some stuff in each, I got real mad, almost skipped recording. The vocals suffered a bit, doing the song five-six times in a row doesn?t keep the voice in the best shape... And I did a few bloopers in this version that I am not pleased with, but at least I know I have a perfect take somewhere in me!! Unfortunately not caught on tape this time!! I prefer playing live, instead of recording video, but hey, the world is watching on PM.com, cant be bad!!!! SPOOKY!!! Anyhow, don't cry for me Argentina, it's all good!! -

A computer is a cold cold audience.

What's going on people? Just thought I'd drop by with a link to my Band on the Run contest entry video...
Yes, its the same version as the one I did for the Global Wings Band on the Run album production. Anyways, please give it a vote if you wish. The video is nothing special really. Anyways, thanks! Cheers. -
Well, well, well there's that Bjorn, funny I was thinking bout ya recently, you and Svenn, wondering where those 2 zany Scandinavians were hiding (LOL) themselves and hoped you guys can stay warm this winter way up there near the Arctic Circle, it must feel like Christmas already (laughs), Yeah I think you and your friend sound super, very nice rendition of a Macca masterpiece, man Now, if you'd done one for "Meat Free Monday" you'd have won recognition for it, just as Oliver 21st Century Paul has done, it still isn't too late and you guys could come up with one. (if you're stuck for lyrics I can provide them )...check out Oliver's take on it, it's very good What you been up to? I wish you hadn't been partially concealed, often, by that big black boom of a microphone, it looks state of the art, impressive but we couldn't get to eyeball you singing, as much as we'd have liked. I was peering and squinting, trying to get a gander (LOL). You seem very proficient on the keyboards Bjorn and your friend is no slouch at geetar pickin'--cool how he is shown in a 'window' high up behind you. Good job! I haven't seen yours yet, McCartney, but I'll get to it

Well, I'm taking a look at what people has done... and now (as usual) I want to do something totally different. I run the risk of really spoil the song, though.

Here's even more original stuff. Audi and me talked about what if I sang You've Got Yourself in a lower key. I've sing it an octave lower, singing virtually the same melody. For me it's kind of... dead, I don't like it much, not for this song... another track for my future Anthology? You've Got Yourself (lower version) And this is quite the opposite. Some old song I wanted to be recorded better. And it's also higher than the 2008's recording Old www.oliversanz.com/iwanttoflyaway.mp3 New www.oliversanz.com/iwanttoflyaway2010.mp3

Hey Bjorn, your avatar reminds me of Freddie's video for I Was Born To Love You
I remember Audi liked the others Queen members as singers, here's Roger and Brian covering live that Freddie solo song in 2005; and this is Queen version -
Audi on drums Bjorn on bass Evie on the acoustic Fil on the electric and me on keyboards is there a way to make a virtual concert or so? Global Wings broadcasted live

I've got a technical question for you that make videos... I try to record a video when I'm singing. But my recording software doesn't run well if I'm recording video with whatever other software. Does the same happen to you? Do you have to record your videos with an unplugged cam? thank you

Hmmm, actually maybe not.... 'Cause I usually record sound (guitar) + video with my webcam feature. I then extract the mp3 of the video recording and edit it (add reverb, take some of the biggest hissing out, etc...). Then I add vocals. Then I put it (the mp3) back on the video so it's synchronised. Sounds harder than it is.... But I'm not using any recording softward WHILE I'm recording the video. So I wouldn't know if mine also works less well while I'm recording.

Yes, you make it in a different way, I would have to make a headless video too , if not the vocals wouldn't synch... that's another thing I should do, take the hissing out, I've already done it in some recordings. What I definitely must do is using a classic, external cam. Not that you're going to see anything special.

Well, I asked Bjorn to, Audi to, Oliver 21st Century Paul to, and no go--I've resolved to pay my brother in law, who can play guitar well and sing well, to help me come up with a tune for my "Meat Free Monday" lyrics and help me do something with "Band on the Run," and get it on a video to submit to the right place, get it on Youtube or whatever. I saw what happened with Oliver after he submitted his "Meat Free Monday" --he was noticed, appreciated and recognized by the powers that be that are "high up there" and all that.( ) Well, you guys were approached & asked, and didn't want to...but now I'm gonna shell out several hundreds of bucks to whomever will. I imagine my bro in law might agree to, once I tell him this.

I call them the same "the ones high up there"... , well, but not a penny has come to me because of that. I'm just the same unknown unemployed musician that I was. Of course it was fantastic, but don't think that if you spend money on this it's gonna pay back with money too, cause it hasn't even paid back (with any money) to me. I would like to see the Meat Free Monday going strong, but nothing big has happened yet. Paul will keep on trying anyway.

(to Oliver) I don't expect anything like what you mentioned, I'd just get a kick out of having something to submit-- and also, the chance of hearing from them like you did when they expressed praise and appreciation is an enticing possibility. Would get a big kick out of that audi--you serious?? You'd know where to submit the video, and could make a video performing it? Dumb question, I've seen vids of you playing and singing music before (even one of mine! "You Got More Sass Than Class" which I got a huge thrill from) so obviously you know how (and have talent)...
