Marroon Five, Adam Levine's band, and classical musician Itzak Perlman have canceled their North Carolina gigs because of the bad anti-LBGT law that was passed. Many fans are angry. It looks like Justin Bieber and Gwen Stefani are still going on with their shows there

(Shudders) Saw pic online of Donald Junk and Neil Young together both smiling real big and headline read Neil Young is now letting D.T. use his songs in his campaign. Yikes. Was fearful to read the story for fear of finding out Young actually endorses Trump for Prez.

ABC News revealed Oprah Winfrey advised Paul McCartney against working with Kanye West. She specifically objected to Kanye's lyrics to a Paul melody that included the N word numerous times. Paul still liked the song, he said.

A "Hamilton" cast member told Jimmy Fallon he witnessed fighting between Shonda Rhimes and Art Garfunkel during a recent performance of the hit Broadway musical. Garfunkel, seated in a row behind Rhimes and her party, was being "disruptive" and Rhimes kept turning around to warn him to "stop talking." At intermission "I thought she was going to whomp his a---s," Leon Odom Jr. told the night show host.

A remake of "Quadraphrenia" in the works??! Will be very hard to beat the original... A new "Monkees" album is out and Mike Nesmith has participated
-
Meghan Trainor's new song isn't cute like her others...sounds like Nicki Minage-like hip hop she fell down during a recent concert. Reading that, I remembered seeing Stevie Nicks fall down at a Nicks concert in Seattle. Paul McCartney stated in a recent interview that Oasis messed up bad when they called themselves "bigger than the Beatles" and Noel Gallagher quickly responded he was "high" when he said that--tried to get out of it

The sounds of silence indeed.

U.K. singer Paloma Faith was featured in the ultra quirky artsy flick "Youth" in a surreal cameo--actor Harvey Keitel who co-starred called her "ordinary" in the movie but she seemed anything but

Prince Harry and Eli Golding were spotted "all over each other" at a U.K. sports event and photographed together, all smiles. Are now charged with "secretly dating"

Rod Stewart has flip flopped and now states he finds performing "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" to be a "joyous" and happy experience. Had read before he thought it "embarrassing" to sing. Imparted a blush to Rod's visage, LOL ...Loretta Lynn has suffered another family tragedy, her "favorite grandson" has died and she interrupted her tour. She's still touring at age 84, in part because three of her children or grands are in her band. She plans to hit the road again soon. Is quite a "Steel Magnolia." ...Taylor Swift and "I Saw the Light" star Tom Hiddleston are messing around, giving public displays of affection, and it's odd that a tabloid said they're just putting on an act and want people to think they're dating, but it's all an act. It was strange Hiddleston (a British actor) was reportedly considered to play James Bond. He appears too bland and mild or something for that role, methinks. I bet he's capable playing Hank Williams in "I Saw the Light" which comes out on DVD July 5.

Justin Bieber told someone asking for an autograph, "I don't feel like signing an autograph, mother f------r" and got punched out by that person. Bieber later tweeted "don't worry, my pretty face doesn't have a scratch" or something like that. (laughs)

Oprah Winfrey revealed she isn't into either hot or cool jazz (despite being near the Southside of Chicago so many years with all its jumpin' jazz joints) Lady Gaga said to be meeting with the Dalai Lama. Paul Simon says he's retiring from music, doesn't like "show biz" Methinks he'll still write songs and give/sell them to other artists, which will be fantastic in its own way--has said composing songs is the best drug anyone could imagine--the very best fun and biggest thrill.

Thanx for those, L2R ...My sis listens to some peculiar AM radio stations sometimes, said a talk DJ on "The Savage Show" disrespected Marianne Faithfull big time, called her "fat and a heroin junkie" and said her singing "can blister paint off wood." He didn't like Faithfull's blasting the Royal Family and England's Parliament over the EU issue, leaving EU, actually that was the British (England) voters and not Queenie Eye who did that. One doubts that this talk DJ, his last name is Savage (fitting surname for him) understands all the particulars of Brexit, LOL (not that I fathom it!). Nor does Faithfull. She's such a survivor though, you gotta love it.

Princess Diana's birthday was yesterday and royal ginger Prince Harry leaped onto the stage at a Coldplay charity concert in England, joined in with some songs. I'll delve deeper and report back. Can Harry really sing? Don't recall if this has already been mentioned, here, but Harry humorously expounded on children being "disappointed" when they see him in regular attire, because of the "fairytale" royalty aspect. He joked that in future he plans to always wear a Crown and purple cape lined with fur and "pointy" little boots. I just saw new pix online today of Daryl Hannah and Neil Young together, enjoying the French Riviera. Neil Young looked the cutest I've seen him in a long time. Daryl has received too much plastic surgery. Songbird Dolly Parton announced her support for H. R. Clinton, for President Dolly is embarking on an 18 city tour (in the U.S., I think).

Really hate this one...John Lennon's blood soaked shirt after he was shot, sold for $44 thousand

(LOL) Tony Bramwell put on his f.b. today that he wrote "Hey Jude" and later implied he also wrote "Yesterday" ...The special 4th of July patriotic edition of Time magazine with 300 great things about America, something like that, wrote that Katy Perry is more American somehow than Beyonc? and Madonna, or her music is, or her too--seemed peculiar, it can't be 'cause Perry's more white bread could it, that won't fly, Beyonc? isn't white and Madonna's ethnic, half-French and half-Italian, don't think they meant anything like that.
