Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors
-
Like every other tour, tons of rumors and don't believe everything you hear!!
-
I'm sure we will know all upcoming tour dates by April 19, which is when the new tour book will be sold at the stadium in Uruguay. If the concerts are not officially announced by then, I'll take a picture of the page with those dates for you guys.

The book will probably have only the South American leg of the tour.

probably depends on when the books were sent out to print and how many of the shows after SA were already confirmed. I don't think they'd publish a full schedule unless all of the shows were in granite. So I'd agree, probably just SA and maybe the Asian leg

For what it's worth, the Out There Tour book for the Brooklyn shows in early June, 2013 listed tour dates through the August 14 date in Canada.

I've heard a rumour that there may be Europe and UK shows nearer the end of 2014, which would make it three years since his last full show in the UK. The thing that makes me sad about that is, if Paul decided to wait another three years after that supposed show, we really could be seeing him for the last few times. Considering his attention in other places on the planet, I can completely understand how so many people in Europe are very sad about this/the neglect. It wouldn't be so bad if Paul were 30, but he's not. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if this rumour is true.

He hasn't played the UK in three years, and you call that neglect? How do you think folks in New Zealand and Australia feel? Let's keep some perspective here.

Heard a whisper of Sunrise, FL (BB and T Center) and also Baltimore. Any truth, Bob?
I'd take Sunrise if I can't have Philly. That could be doable!

I really don't understand this. He has played the uk in consecutive years before and because he does Latin America again you're acting like he is doing it as a personal affront to you. Just be thankful he is still touring and there's a chance he will play the uk. Even if he does you'll probably still find something to moan about. He hasn't played Oceania since the 90s, they've got more to complain about.

I absolutely agree. I`m British and I find this a completely over-the -top reaction, and also rather worryingly fanatical.People really do need to stop holding Paul to ransom and taking everything personally.

Okay... I'm done with this site. It's a very unwelcoming place these days and I'm not the only one who thinks this. It was nice knowing you all, but I feel like I'm being jumped on just for being passionate about something. I hope everyone gets what they want this year. Have fun.

Bob Gannon:
only one repeat from last year!
Then my guess for that one is San Francisco - 2013 - Outside Lands; 2014 - Candlestick.
-
This is why your argument holds no weight Frankie.....it's ok to be sad that he may not be coming to the UK..which is still silly because there are still 9 months left in the year!!! But if you look from 2002-2014 including this year's shows..... South America have had 24 shows during those years while the UK has had 33 shows despite being a much smaller area. If you go back to the 1989-90 and 1993 tours....the numbers would be skewed even worse towards UK dominance in amount of shows Paul does there. South America just catching up a little. I bet alot of those South American cities or even single countries wish that Paul played there 33 times in that span. Other than Brazil who has like 9..none of the others are even close. So, you should consider yourself quite lucky that he's done so many shows in the UK and I'm not even counting the Ireland shows
-
Actually I looked at the 89-90 and 93 tours and here are the numbers South America- 8 shows UK-23 shows
