Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors

Would doubt in tour book. That probably went out to print long before June and beyond was 100% confirmed

This is very unreliable and probably nothing, but I traced some guy on Twitter who works in "media" who was talking to a friend about seeing Paul because he's supposedly doing a show in Liverpool in October....? Going to see if I can find out more from him.
That would be nice as I'll be in Liverpool in October. Just depends on the date IF it was to happen.
The guy won't tell me where he heard it from... he just said "sources". Hmm. *shrug*
I guess we shall see eh? Would be wonderful to see him in his hometown. I do wish like others he would just announce all his dates at once, but we know that will never happen!

Im guessing that there is a 0% chance that Australia is on the tour agenda this year.

Regarding the tour Book for the 2014 first , second and third leg of the tour: 1- a all- in- spanish Tour Book for the first 6 shows in Latin America showing only those dates and Asia? 2- a second tour book ALL in japanese (that I'm sure will happen), with the Latin shows, Asia, and the ------------ shows for the 3 next months (after the Asia tour). 3- a third Tour book all in english showing the Latin, Asia and ------- dates. Or, maybe only TWO different books? One in english (which will be available at the Latin shows and the ------- shows) and one in Japanese??? If Paul (well, his team), made an ALL in spanish tour book, will it be THE FIRST! Because in Brazil he added only a sheet in Portuguese, but the rest was in english, right Carlos?, and the cover was different color. wondering now, if it will be 3 tour books? (and later 4, and 5 for the rest of this year's tour)
-
The tour books will probably be like the ones from last year: same contents, plus a single sheet with Paul's message in the language of each country. Maybe a different color of the front cover for each region, and a couple of pages advertising new products.

Yeah, I'm afriad. In Japan, the tour book all is in japanese because they pay more for their products, but would't be great to get the first one all in spanish for a change? (since now, ALL the first 6 shows are in countries with Spanish language)

It would be an interesting change, indeed. All pages of the tour book for the 2011 concert in Paris were printed in French. The one from 2009 for the shows in Germany was written in German.

Actually I looked at the 89-90 and 93 tours and here are the numbers South America- 8 shows UK-23 shows
I believe 20 of those were in 1990--11 in Lomdon, 6 in Birmingham...

the festival lineup, yes I think it's probably an April Fool's joke. I know Paul will not be there on July 5th as listed..he has some other plans in mind!
Oh, tell us Oh Wise Wizard, what are Paul's plans on July 5th?
right country, wrong city!
You should have quoted cubsbrad23, not me!
Well I apologize Nancy!!! Still trying to get used to this whole quoting thing!!!
That's a 10-4 good buddy!

Doubting that September and October rumors are true....He's scheduled April through August right now. His pattern has been to take a break after his August shows. Although patterns can always change, as we know with our guy...he stays very consistent. Usually if he does more shows, they have been historically in Nov & Dec....

Thing is, the September shows in Brazil come from a ver good source. It's the promoter who's bringing Paul to Chile and other countries.

Like I said, patterns can change but he's already on the road for 5 straight months and I would seriously doubt it. If he was going to do Brazil, would have made more sense to add it in April as he's already in South America. And I would say after his promise of Europe and UK that they will be next on tap after America. Hasn't really done shows there in almost 3 years and I would speculate that he would do them in the NOV and Dec slot as he has historically done....and if so...making Brazil and Mexico even less of a possibility
-
I think I can boldly say at his age that he will not be out on the road for 8 straight months

Yes, I know these rumors are unlikely, but since this is the thread about rumors I think it's ok to mention them here. So there they are, once again: May 20/21 - Tokyo (Budokan) May 25 - Osaka May 28 - Seoul June/July - USA September/October/November/December/2015/Whenever - Brazil and Mexico Who Knows When - Europe/UK
-
5th-beatle:
June/July - USA
Hopefully, there are no overlapping dates with Ringo. His tour covers all of June and part July
-
Japan confirmed May 17, 18, 24

DCShark, from what I can see, at least 8 overlapping shows during that time but none in the same state on the same day

They overlapped in Summer 2010, as I recall. Hey Bob, can you give even a tiny hint whether the US shows will all be outdoors/stadiums, or are there any indoor gigs mixed in there, too?
