Paul McCartney 2014 Rumors

Kimsey:
As for me, I would travel even to the Moon "just" to see Paul and His Band. I wish I could afford to travel to the US now, but I have to wait for EU/UK shows. I've travelled all over Europe to see his show and would travel more if I could afford it 'cos this is my biggest passion.
I think it's time for Paul to return to Budapest, singing "Monkberry Moon Delight"!
Bob Gannon:
UK/Europe doesn't seem to be out of the picture as of yet, still way too early to tell for sure.
It would be nice if he went to places he has never been to, or at least has not returned to in a long time, such as Portugal, Spain, Hungary, Turkey and Greece.
-
I doubt Budapest would be in the picture. It would probably be 10 or less shows with a heavy tilt towards major cities since he hasn't been there in 4 years

So it would probably the usual suspects: UK, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, etc... just like in december 2009 & 2011.
-
I would expect the usual suspects since he hasn't done shows over there in four years...no information or proof to support it..just my general feeling.

It makes sense. It's an opportunity for him to promote NEW in major European capitals who haven't seen his Out There tour yet.

Exactly 5th Beatle...other than the Kew Gardens and UK TV shows that he did back in October, they have not heard this set list or the New songs yet

I doubt that too, but would be nice if Paul came back here.

McCartney said in RS that his priority is casual fans and firs time concert goers. So, he is not even thinking about people traveling or coming from far away. He is focused on local people who will buy the ticket there. Which is one of many reasons I won't travel to see a concert anymore. Too much can go wrong, and announcing concerts like this, you may buy a ticket for one market only to watch a concert be announced much closer at a later date. I'll sit back and enjoy the games! And save loads of money.
Me too. I never travel somewhere JUST to see a concert. I'll pick the time and place to travel, and if something good comes up while I'm there, I'll go. If he announces a NYC area date, I won't get tickets, because if he then announced for Philly (near me), I'd be pretty steamed.

You're definitely a die hard fan! I agree with you, keep the faith and let's hope you get some shows in Nov/Dec

My guess is after he finishes the U.S portion of Out There shows, he will round back to Europe and U.K. for more shows either late this year or early next.

How many more months until this might be clear? I wonder if this can be announced before the fall. Culture Club is playing the O2 in December and I would think other major act dates around that time are going to have to confirm. *goes to check O2 calendar for open days...*

Regarding EU/UK: he did a few live appearances in 2007 and 2008, a brief tour in December 2009, a few shows in June & December 2010, another tour in December 2011, 4 shows in March 2012 and 3 shows in June 2013, so I will be very surprised if he does not return this year.
-
except this time he's going into September and October which are historically off months for him so I wouldn't be surprised by any means if he did not come back out but things are in motion from what I hear, it's a matter of interest at this point

Fingers crossed for our EU/UK friends, then!

I know. I'm not that naive.

I'm a little surprised he's never got back to Australia.
-
extremely doubtful that any of those shows (if they do happen) would be announced before the fall. Just not the way paul's camp does things

And so begins the waiting game... 2 or 3 more months hoping for an announcement. As the song goes: "I will always be hoping, hoping..."
