A newspaper in Brasília has talked to local promoters and to the company in charge of Paul's tour dates in Brazil. They have confirmed that they are negotiating to make a reservation to use the stadium for his concert on november 20. http://www.correiobraziliense.com.br/app/noticia/diversao-e-arte/2014/08/29/interna_diversao_arte,444708/producao-de-paul-mccartney-negocia-show-no-mane-em-novembro.shtml

Breaking, Brian Ray in this brand new interview with The Adam Carolla Show: "We got about 6 shows in October, and then about 6 more in November, and then we're gonna call it a year" FFS!!!

I did not expect that many shows in november. It could either mean Japan and South Korea or Brazil, Argentina and Mexico. Either way, I feel sorry for the the fans in the UK and Europe... unless he surprises us all with shows over there?

There may still be hope for EU/UK. I sent a message to Brian Ray on twitter with a link to your post. I also asked about Brazil in november. He replied: "No, I don't know about those rumors, I'm only guessing we will do something, sorry.. I don't have a schedule."
-
He's probably just backtracking because he doesn't want to spoil Paul's future announcements by saying "yes, we will play South America in November" or something. I'm sure the band knows exactly when and where the next shows will take place, since Paul would have to make sure his band members are actually available when he needs them.
-
I think so, Ane. Paul should announce the rest of the schedule for the year. I fear there will be no shows for the UK/EU.
-
Carlos, remember the old radio interview with a SA promoter saying 5 shows in Brazil stadiums in October? I think, Brazil will get 5 shows (3 cities and maybe 1 extra show in two of them), plus one River. Nothing solid on Mexico yet. If not: 2 shows in Mexico 1 in River, Argentina 3 in Brazil Total: 6 shows in November

I like that theory, but he said "about 6 shows" in november, so it may be less. It may even be more than 6, but that would surprise me. After all, he also said "about 6 shows in october" when it's actually 9 (including the expensive one in San Antonio), and he did not mention the september 28 concert. It seems he knows there will be shows during those months (that's good news), but he's not sure of the exact number. Which is understandable, as he must have a lot on his mind, being on Paul's band.

He most definitely should announce the rest of the year already. People have to make plans...or not. Sorry for you guys.

According to one of the most respectable newspapers in Brazil, the Secretary of Tourism And Special Projects has confirmed: Paul will do a show in Brasília on November 23! Promoters have been trying to bring him to the capital of the country since 2009, and apparently it will be confirmed this time. http://www.correiobraziliense.com.br/app/noticia/diversao-e-arte/2014/09/03/interna_diversao_arte,445429/show-de-paul-mccartney-em-brasilia-esta-confirmado-para-novembro.shtml
