Somene in this article mentions why Paul hasn't returned to Argentina yet: http://www.fmrockandpop.com/2014/03/13/si-no-es-este-ano-no-es-nunca/
And also he mentions that Paul may tour Brazil in September (listened it on the audio)
What? Now I have to listen to that!
Super interesting interview!!! 1- Uruguay so far not 100% sure (although it may be confirmed within hours) *but the interview is from march 12* 2-NO Argentina in 2014, NO Cordoba due to money issues 3-Sept/October Brazil tour in Stadiums (plus we know about more Latin dates could be added, including Mexico) 4-POSSIBLE Tour of the Stones in Latin America: Oct/Nov
-
Wow, that was a surprise. I have just listened to the interview (in Spanish), and at 8 minutes 14 seconds the man specifically says that Paul will return to Brazil in september/october. You can download the audio file through this link: http://media.fmrockandpop.com/audio/programas/casifamosos/daniel_grinbank_casi_famosos.mp3 His name is Daniel Grinbank, and here is some info about him: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Grinbank

interesting, thank you all for the breakdown of the interview. Nice to have some sort of clue as to where Paul will be during the fall. The Stones are supposedly doing Europe in the summer and I know they are trying to reschedule the Australian shows from this month, which were all just postponed.
-
Paul doesn't usually tour in september/october, but he always does in november. Maybe that's when those concerts will actually happen, and then Europe/UK in december? It makes sense to me, at least.

You have to think also on the STONES, that's why is so important to know the facts about them. Both can't play the same week, maybe the same month, that's no problem, but not the same country same week. In the past was ok, U2 playing today in Brazil, next week the Stones, Macca in Argentina, the Stones in 20 days, etc, but now, the price range is VERY HIGH for both acts, you can't have the same BIG act in your country at the same time because for that, you need to put on sale the tickets at the almost same time: People who will go to both shows will have to decide for just one, for example. So, let's wait.
-
So Paul is not coming to my country because we're poor. Dammit.

Reminder to those just joining in: Bob G (above) suggested that we be on the lookout for announcements this Wednesday the 19th. 'I've got a feeling' about Candlestick Park (not that I'm anywhere near it, unfortunately!).
OK, Today is Weds. the 19th and I don't see any "announcements". I am on pins & needles about Candlestick...I am SO there!! This waiting is killing me. I'm not gettin' any younger, ya' know.

I hardly doubt "Candlestick" announcements this or the coming weeks. First announcement should be Uruguay, and then, the rest of the dates for May/June not in USA...

I heard the Stones are cancelling much of their tour because Mick's girlfriend of 10 years committed suicide just 2 days ago.

Australia/NZ tour, which was supposed to start yesterday, has definitely been postponed. Promoter is telling fans to hold on to tickets as dates will be rescheduled. No word yet on the summer Euro dates, tho, since those were only just announced. back to Macca, I assumed that we would not hear any announcements today since the Uruguay show hasn't been confirmed yet. Agree with mike above that once they announce that, they can continue with the next leg. Hope we know something soon!
-
yeah, looks like announcement might have been pushed back...these things have a habit of changing. Date came right from the promotor's camp from the country the shows will be in. Will have to wait for the iconic non American venue!
-
Wouldn't count on Sept/Oct shows... As far as November...always possible but you must remember that he only does 6 to 7 shows a month so if more SA and Mexico shows do appear then, it would be less likely for the UK/Europe unless extremely downsized. Will be interesting to see how the end of the year shakes out but i'm sure he'll be looking for some down time after August
-
iconic venue not in UK and not in USA

Hmmmm....so the announcement is not about US dates, since it will be about an "iconic non American venue." I say Budokan in Tokyo!!
-
The wikipedia shows the guy might be in the know, let's face it....anything can happen..even though he's had a very discernable pattern in the past 5 years, things could always change. Grab a seat and enjoy the ride
-
So if he'll play in South America in the fall, then there might be a proper European tour in 2015?
-
well Budokan would be quite iconic I would say. We'll find out for sure soon enough
-
I am extremely disappointed that Paul is skipping Europe and in particular the UK. It's also been a long time since he's been in Spain, France and Germany. He's going back to Japan again very soon, but I suppose he did do that with Dublin and London back in December 09/June 10.
