Been offline two days and now discover not just Leonard Cohen but Leon Russell has passed away ! I've really loved many of their songs
Leon always sounded so wild and inebriated. Leonard so elegant and sophisticated. Hey I need to use those two lines in a tribute song for them. -

I guess I admired more of Leon's and Leonard's songs than Prince's and Bowie's--I feel more distraught and perturbed by losing the former, than even the latter. Well, I sure didn't jump for joy learning about Prince and Bowie, either. What's gonna happen next? This was quite a shock.

Have been so very sad to hear about Leon Russell. He was such a cool guy. Heard he was recovering from surgery. Loved his unique voice....
