An inspection in the home of Gene Simmons? That I live in times where the police could knock on the door to check what kind of pictures I masturbate to, makes me so proud. ops: Well, let's stick to the world of music here. I've never been a big fan of Kiss but I enjoy certain songs. Also, I saw them live in 1999. On one of those reunion tours.

Kiss was really popular when I was a kid growing up in the 70's however they never blew my hair back. Thanks to my older brother & sister I was listening to great bands like The Who, Led Zeppelin & Black Sabbath. I do like the song "Detroit Rock City" though.
-
Yeah, I remember Kiss from when I was a kid but I can't remember many in my class listening to them. I think we all liked Pink Floyd and David Bowie. At least in our teens. It was not very heavy, it was more like Phil Collins' version of Genesis and Jethro Tull, Saga and Barclay James Harvest. I was a big fan of The Beatles of course. I liked a lot of 60s bands and 50s rockabilly. I was probably less contemporary then the others and more whimsical.

Never understood the "cult" of Kiss, far better bands around in the 70's surely?

Looks like Keith Richards is in the news again, he's calling Metallica and Black Sabbath "Jokes!" Black Sabbath has announced that the next North American tour will be their final tour. Any thoughts?
