Counting down the days to Philly!! It had to be 50 years ago, I was almost 5, that my father put us all in the Ford station wagon and took us to either the Parkway or Starlight drive-in to see 'Help'. I've been hooked ever since! And all these years later I get to take my 5 year old grand daughter to see Paul. Life just doesn't get better than this! Nine more days!!!!
Fabulous!!! Hope you continue to countdown with us!

Hello Excited People! I usually make a sign for the concert. At the 2010 concert in Philly I held up and sign that said, "Pink Haired Girls Love Paul." because, well my hair was Fuschia at the time, and anyway it got on the Jumbotron and I was thrilled...uh tickled pink even. BUT this time round I'm going to the Soundcheck and the email says, "No items such as album covers, guitars or memorabilia will be permitted into the venue." Does anyone know if that means we cannot bring in a poster board rolled up under our arm? I'm kind of disappointed if this is the case because I know there will be plenty of signs lovingly made and brought in a non sound check situation. I don't know what to do now. Thanks, Mare

I've been to a few soundchecks and they have always let the signs in. I would be really surprised if they weren't allowed. Philly is getting close, can't wait!! I love the countdown!!

Hi...and welcome!! Forget 64 is right...as long as the sign can be rolled up I don't believe you'll have any problem bringing it in to the soundcheck. Hope to see you there!!

Thank you for your responses. Definitely made me feel better. My husband and I will be in Section 2, Row 5, Seats 19 and 20 if any of you want to say, "Hello!" Not sure how to recognize fellow Maccaboard members at the Soundcheck.

We'll be in Section 5, which I think is behind Section 2. Maybe we'll see you. Have a great time!

I don't know if this has been posted or not, but local radio station WMGK has a virtual birthday card that you can sign. The link is right on the front page of their site. www.wmgk.com
