I thought it was a great performance. What are the odds the two tour together again?
I'm very skeptical of that, especially this year. Ringo is already committed to an All-Starr Band tour, and I can't see Paul pushing Abe out at this point.
I hope they don't. Paul's set lists are Beatles-heavy enough as it is. A Twotles nostalgia tour would be unbearable.
THIS.
I would absolutley LOVE Paul and Ringo to tour together. They should do an album first. That would be the ultimate for me .
oh God no. :
Oh Goodness Yes .
I am with stuart on this one and quite honestly am very puzzled by the negativity. Am I missing something? Why wouldn't this be a good thing? Obviously a full-fledged Beatles reunion will never happen but why would you be so adamantly against Paul and Ringo touring together? Is this just the hip thing to say?

You can be on any side that you like...that's what opinions are all about. We are all different. Watch the voting in his poll for them to do an album together.

Abe just told me on twitter that it was a great suggestion asking them to play Sgt.Pepper / With A Little Help. Maybe he was just being nice, but I'll pretend to myself that I helped Paul and Ringo choose their setlist. It's a nice illusion!
Whether he was just being nice and they already had the idea or if they took your suggestion to heart, it's pretty cool that he responded to you regardless

Yeah....and you're (obviously) entitled to your opinion too. I am just curious why you would be opposed to them touring. I am not really concerned about the album part...but a few tour dates? Kind of like Page and Plant reuniting back in the 90s. It wasn't a Led Zeppelin reunion but it was still cool to see the two of them play together again.

I'm not opposed to them performing together during the occasion 'one off' gig...I wouldn't want to see them tour together as the norm though...and I wouldn't want it passed off as some 'Beatle Reunion'... And similarly, I like the fact that they occasionally give each other a little help on various solo works...but wouldn't want to see a full album intended to be joint top billing (or worse, 'The Beatles')

Paul & Ringo would never do that anyway. (go on tour as "The Beatles")

Yeah they wouldn't do that. I have heard people suggest they should have John and George's kids join in and then have a reunion. This, I have no desire to see. Ever. But Paul and Ringo together. You bet.

Yes, but Sean and Dhani were there, and Dhani even played Something with Joe Walsh and Jeff Lynne. It was all awesome!

Absolutley agree with this. It couldn't be the Beatles, but I'd love them to work together on something substantial.

My comment is about their performance of Queenie Eye at the Grammys. It was ok, a so so song that didn't really get the crowd excited. They should have rocked the house with something way more upbeat and exciting. If McCartney wanted to do one of his new songs, he should have done I Can Bet! Now that song would get the crowd going and would of been a serious party starter. Queenie Eye is just a nice safe little song. I say again, they should have rocked, they should have come out and hit the crowd with a hot rocking version of Birthday or McCartney could of even done Hi Hi Hi. Talk about rocking the house! Overall except for Robin Thicke with Chicago and Ringo doing Photograph, the Grammys was absolutely terrible! Some of the absolute worst acts I've seen! Totally boring, nobody rocked, and it was just unexciting. I seriously miss the days of really talented acts and good musicians!

It was the first time I watched the Grammy's in probably 10 years and I only watched for Paul and Ringo. I did, however, also enjoy the Metallica performance of One.

Really, you liked Robin Thicke and Chicago. I think most people thought that was the worst thing of the night, myself included and I used to love Chicago in the 70's. I would have liked McCartney to do "I Can Bet" which I think would have been awesome but guess he wanted to do his latest single and have the screens show the video he made. Kind of funny having you say McCartney should have did "Birthday" when you have many time criticized him for doing too many Beatle songs.

I'd suppose that because I loathed Robin Thicke's tuneless vocals at the MTV VMAs last year, I found his Chicago-collab much easier to stomach.

I do really like "I Can Bet" and hope it will be the next single. That being said, I loved Paul's Queenie Eye Performance at the Grammies and I think it was the correct song for Paul to do. It seemed to me that the crowd did get into it quite vociferously and I loved seeing Jay Z's standing and cheering at the end. Vocally, I think Paul nailed it especially from the middle slow part to the very end. That's when it seemed the crowd really got into it. I Can Bet, in my opinion, wouldn't have been the right choice because most of the people at the Grammy's wouldn't have known it. Because Queenie Eye has been a single along with the Video that got pretty good coverage, most people in the audience were familiar with the song. Paul's live version just enhanced how good a song it really is. Just hope that Paul tours in the US this year so I can hear both songs live.

I agree as well - regarding the Queenie Eye Grammy performance...I was pleasantly surprised. Per the studio version, I think it's a great song, but that middle falsetto part almost (stress the word almost) ruins for me...it actually came off pretty well live

^ Yes, I agree that it did come off pretty well!
