Paul, I am writing you today with a great deal of excitement. If you have a moment to bare with me... I have been planning recently to propose to my beautiful girlfriend, who is the most wonderful person I've ever known. She is is so loving and so selfless. And because she is so many wonderful things, she deserves a special and unforgettable proposal. But the problem has been figuring out the perfect scenario and location. But I have found comfort in thinking that the right circumstance will reveal itself. And what do you know! This morning I get an email stating you are playing in our neck of the woods, Atlanta, on June 21! I could hardly contain my excitement as he is our absolute favorite artist! We even plan our first dance to be to The Beatles' "Til There Was You." The trouble is lately, I have been working overtime and odd jobs to be able to save up for a ring and needless to say, I cannot afford tickets to this show. (Before I go further, this email is not to ask for free tickets, although wouldn't that be great?! Ha) I'm not asking to be brought up on stage or for any attention that would take away from your show. BUT I feel like there is still an amazing chance, maybe even better way, to make this day absolutely unforgettable for her. My dream scenario is this: giving her a great weekend in the city with dinner and all, but I know you usually do sound checks for your shows, right? What if we were able to attend the sound check and as you are sound checking one of the great love songs, I got down on one knee...I can't think of a better way! Still keeping it somewhat intimate, but still in the same room with with our favorite songwriter as he is playing... This probably all sounds ridiculous to you and I apologize for such a lengthy post. But you have no idea how perfect this would be! Is there ANY way you could help me achieve something even remotely close to this idea? I would be forever grateful. She deserves something magical. You'll probably never see this. Thank you for the wonderful music!

I'd say yes.
-
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Love you, love you, love you! Sending great big hugs!

Dear Paul, Can I have a million, billion, zillion dollars, the rights to "Hey Jude" AND free tickets to one of your shows?? This is a pretty funny thread!!

As much as I would like to see Paul "bare" (you meant "bear" I know!) You can only go to soundcheck if you pay either $1500 or $2000 per ticket. You sound like a great guy and I know she will say yes, but Paul never reads this stuff, so go to Plan B, whatever that is.

Every so often he teases us. Like letting his hair go gray recently for a short while when we've been beggging for it for so long. but more then likely, he really only reads Podgie's posts.

Paul I hope you feel better real soon sending prayers your way.

Dear Paul, Im way over due to see you in concert. Last time I saw you was 2002 for the Back in the U.S tour. Maybe I can catch you this time when you come to Los Angeles for your Out There tour. Your New album is awesome. I listen to it often. I still have the dream to meet you in person one day. You bring happiness into my life, and George brings me spiritual enlightment into my life. Both of you give me a good reason to keep going on in life. Keep doing what you are doing we love it. love maccasfangirl30

Get well soon Sir Paul.
-
Dear Paul, I am hoping and praying with all my spiritual self that you get well soon and stay in good health for at least another 7 decades. I am desperately worried about you though, I must admit. PLEASE take care of yourself and rest and do whatever the doctors tell you to get well. I don't care when you ever go onstage I just want you alive and well. I just want you happy and the touring this summer is not more important than your health. You have your family and friends and all the animals of the world that love you. Please rest and get well and take it easy all summer if you need it or longer! Love, Kittay.
-
Please slow down a bit and know that we all love you so much!

My mom called to put you on the prayer list so you've got monks praying for you now. (hey, one from this church may become a Catholic saint). I'd cast a spell to heal you but I'm not allowed without permission. I am wearing the ring to send the right doctors to you with the right information.
