So I'm on the South Dakota general sale and I'm getting an option for "general admission standing area" for $250 but there's also VIP seated tickets in the front rows. Is it possible they're splitting the floor into seated and standing?? Some of us boardies have discussed this - could be pretty cool I think. I have yet to pull up one of those tickets - keeps saying "no tickets match your request".
I'd be shocked if any of the floor was GA SRO. I think even the stadium shows are reserved seating. I know the one back in 1990 that I went to was. Have you tried calling the arena ticket office and asking? I've done that numerous times w/ different venues. Sometimes they don't know and then sometimes they know and they won't (or aren't supposed) to tell you! However, I would think they would be able to answer that question. P.S. The floor will automatically get split into sitting/standing because people do both

I see Event Travel have removed any mention of the UK from the page, just says Europe now. If the UK is to get a gig, it has to be no later than June for purely selfish reasons!!! (and NOT a standing floor!)
Makes sense, July has slated shows so June looks like it except for maybe 4 or 5 days beginning of July. But with June already having 6 shows and he averages 5 to 7 per month, you still could see 1 or 2 added......real outside chance of 3. But he can always come back Would be great to bring back the December holiday shows!

There still should be 3-5 more May shows coming unless things have changed

OK, let's see: 1) A UK gig 2) No later than June 3) No standing on the floor Got it!
haha i'm not asking for much am i!! I'm sure if he knew it was for me he'd oblige hehe With my due date in Sept i just worry about going to a Paul gig any more heavily pregnant than the end of june.. you know how exciteable and energetic you get during the show!! Though as Bob said now would be a good time to bring back xmas shows!!!
-
Don't lose heart, anything can happen as honestly I don't have a clear picture of June like the other 4 months. So anything in June is pure guess work. But I do have the advantage of timeline past June making it easier to predict. Like I said average month since 2009 is 5-7 shows. With Madrid this makes 6 shows in June. So I would say best possible outcome 1-3 shows using the brief window in July or no more shows

Can't say I blame you! The little one will decide the schedule, me thinks, not Paul!

See the option on the drop down menu? Must be some sort of glitch or venue mess up because now you can choose seats directly from the map and everything is seated, as expected.....well of course until Paul comes on stage and as you say suddenly we have a standing section

You would have to be very lucky to get one of those standing tickets. I think they are really gone. They were 152E + 35E for postage outside Germany

I don't think I've ever seen that option for a Macca show . . .very bizarre and obviously it doesn't seem to mean anything. Maybe a disconnect between the venue and TicketBastard?
