Yes NY hurts us but the 90's tours he always fit us in despite doing NY
Very true. As you said, age means less shows, smaller tours. At least he is playing every year. For now. Good for him!
so true...after 2005 I was really concerned. 4 years with nothing in the US - only special shows and that tiny secret tour. So when he came back in 2009, I did my first out of city Macca show. If not I'd have been waiting 2 more years til he made it to Chicago again.
My last show was 2009 in Vegas. Glad I went, but I won't leave the state of New Mexico to see him ever again. I've seen him eight times. Fab every time.

That's about where I'm at. Sioux Falls is a 5-hour trip; Minneapolis is 4 hours (one-way) and too far not to overnight. I've never been disappointed at any of the shows and getting to do soundcheck in 2014 in Lincoln was a bucket list item so . . .for now, I'll wait (and wait and wait and wait apparently)

Wow! You came all the way from Chicago to Atlanta for an outdoor, general admission, 100 degrees in the shade (and it rained) concert? I live here and there was no way I could have handled that! You must be a bit younger than me. I have to have an air conditioned arena and an assigned seat!

on the air conditioned arena (would probably survive outdoor venue but did that once...guy in the row ahead of me barfed before the show I know - better in front than behind) Sorry for thread hijack

I hate to be cynical, but I wonder if this method of announcing dates is a way of increasing ticket sales. A show is announced in Sioux Falls, so people in Iowa and Nebraska buy tickets to that show. Then a show is announced Des Moines or Omaha, now those fans are stuck with tickets in another market, but also want to buy tickets to the show in their own back yard. If you announce all the dates at once, then you get a more realistic picture of what demand really is. I used to think they did it this way because they were negotiating up to the last minute. But clearly, these deals are in place months, even YEARS in advance. Just a thought.

So FOTR shared the Italy rumor...

You'd still he'd sell out those small arenas anyway.

Then he should announce them all at once. If that's the case.

Paul will have a new song in setlist. It would be "Money (That's What My Promoters Want)"

I don't mind getting squashed, pushed, yelled at, heat, rain, snow or stink. I am a fan on the run and I will see Paul as many times as I bloody can!

Just remember, just because there are open dates on the calendar doesn't mean he will fill many of him. Since 2009 very consistent 5-7 shows per month 8 or 9 would be a lot

At the very least at least 3 more shows in May...not US and not Europe

That's true. He ain't no Bob Dylan, who has 16 concerts planned for April, ten of which will be in Tokyo. Imagine that.....
