Very interesting. However, the writers made me laugh by mentioning Ringo. I love Ringo, but common.. Ringo perform in a stadium?! IF it is Paul, I would prefer him playing at the Giant Center in Hershey. I'm still skeptical. But the term "music icon" does fit the bill.

Fansontherun Facebook told PA to get ready...Paul + chocolate. Looks like this was legit after all. Still wish t were the arena.. May have to pass on this show in hopes for an arena nearby..
-
Hersheypark Stadium is not an ideal venue if any other Northeast shows are in an arena.
-
The Stadium is absolute S**T and WAY below par for him. The Giant Center would be just fine but I really cannot believe Paul McCartney is going to be in Hershey...I don't really know how to react to this. Do we have anymore insight like...when? Or which venue? I'm just kinda in disbelief.

Definitely Hersheypark Stadium rather than Giant Arena. Do not know date as of yet. Looking into the stadium, it really does look junky.... Reminds me of a festival type facility. But that style seems to be part of his new trend.

Ugh. I just noticed that. So how do we know this is definitely Paul? Because Fans on The Run said Paul plus chocolate or something? I'm sorry...actually...I'm not. This is just cheap. This is cheapening Paul's music. It's a crap venue attached to a theme park...which I have nothing against for say...The Beach Boys or Felix Cavaliere or The Temptations etc. but this is PAUL MCCARTNEY. ...do we have any more updates for DC?

I agree with you. If the rumor was for the Giant Center, I would feel different about it. I suppose this is his way of trying to reach different markets. I get that. But that doesn't make Hershey Stadium any more appealing to me. I've heard nothing further on DC. If I were a betting person, I'd say it would be announced a week after Hershey. If they are at all true, that is.

The article about the HersheyPark concert says the announcement and press conference is on April 13. So we will know soon.

T0 be fair, Springsteen, Aerosmith, Billy Joel, Eagles, The Police, Rush, and The Who have all played at Hersheypark Stadium.

Beyonce is playing Hershey Park stadium this summer so this rumor has some merit to it
-
After gigs like Sioux Falls and Charlottesville, any stop is possible. And I'm aware the stadium draws big names, but it is NOT a pleasant facility...even for a stadium. If it is my only option, of course I will go. But, with cities like DC, NYC, and with NJ popping up on here...it's likely I won't have to cross that bridge!
-
I've been there so I am hoping with for a strong east coast presence this summer but if it is not to be I will trek to Hershey. Heck, I am going back to Minnesota for the double dose of shows so anything that could cut down on long distance travel this summer would be a plus
-
Guess this is what happens after annual touring. He shouldn't have done the US in 2015, demand would've been higher this time around and he wouldn't have to do Hershey
-
Anyone have any news of the show at the Summer Festival of Lucca? It seems that the dream to disintegrated.
-
Serpico, you see - it is time for America right now. I heard that Paul will play second night in Paris.

Not quite. The thing is...he doesn't have to do anything. By doing less dates in each region, he increases the demand. If he actually does two nights in DC, something in Jersey, and a stop in NYC most likely...Hershey is really not a necessity and I think he would likely boost sales in DC by leaving it out. I'm not convinced Hershey will sell out. He didn't sell out in Charlottesville in 2015 or Pittsburgh in 2014 and those are about 15,000 & 20,000 capacity, respectively...and Hershey is definitely a smaller market than Pittsburgh.

All expensive tickets for all 3 Argentinian shows are sold out now.
