Wow. This guy is touring as if his voice was in great shape!
I think he's touring as if it's the LAST tour. It probably is.
Yes, he is done touring big shows. From December on it will be small theater shows with no flashy fire works or stage productions. Just Paul and his band along with the old Rickenbacher playing a selection of wings/ solo hits spanning from 1972 to 2013.
And then you woke up and said "There's no place like home!"

Guess it didn't happen, they played last night and I didn't hear anything about Paul being there.

So commonsense prevailed.

Have no idea if it's Paul related, but, for what it's worth, I was listening to K-EARTH 101 out here in L.A. earlier, and they said a "major, major" concert announcement is supposed to drop at 7 am PT tomorrow.
-
Also, the Twitter feed for Gillette Stadium says that a concert announcement will be happening tomorrow. Again, no clue if it's for Paul or not.
-
I think both of those are Springsteen. He has stadium dates coming later this year and I hear the announcements are happening soon. Also, I doubt that Paul would play Gillette/Foxboro if he is also playing Fenway.
-
Both DC and Cleveland go on sale today 10am local time; with 8/10 and 8/18 being rumored dates, I wouldn't be surprised that second nights are added for each venue with on sale beginning at Noon. Just a hunch based on past on sale dates from previous tours.

Yeah, no way it's Paul, it's definitely gotta be Bruce...he usually plays Fenway, so it would make sense if he does Gillette this summer since Paul (and many others) already have Fenway booked solid all summer.
-
Those new stadium shows turned out to be new Guns N Roses shows.... NOT Springsteen. But hey, at least they do Live And Let Die, so it's Paul-related! "GUNS N' ROSES ANNOUNCE ADDITIONAL DATES FOR "NOT IN THIS LIFETIME" 2016 TOUR If you missed out once, don't miss out twice. Guns N' Roses have added additional shows in Chicago, Foxboro and East Rutherford as well as an August 18th gig at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. "

Well, that was quick... Cleveland #2 was already added and is onsale.

Surprised that no second night for DC has been added.. I guess because he was just there a few years ago, plus with Philly and Hershey being nearby markets..

Weird to play in Cleveland two nights...not exactly one of the major markets for selling out multiple nights, is it? :

He hasn't been there in nearly fifteen years... I can believe it. I'm surprised a second night wasn't added for DC.

There's Cleveland #2

Could lead to some last-minute, day of show floor seats for $69 like Vancouver had.

Also could mean sales weren't brisk enough.
