Paul McCartney 2016 Rumors
-
I don't want to see 80 years old Paul, pretending that he is 18 and singing Johnny B Goode (as Chuck Berry) Robert Plant is a good example. He is younger than Paul, but he is making 'peaceful' shows in small places sometimes etc.

I agree. Paul can play music till the cows come home, but should transition to another stage of his career, at least by the time he is 80.

RMartinez:
He won't be able to play bass and sing I Saw Her Standing There or Helter Skelter. For three hours. I can see Paul doing a more reserved and age appropriate show at 80. Have an orchestra behind him, some guitars and a piano and a band, and do some things like Yesterday, The Long and Winding Road, Hope of Deliverance and others in lower keys. Dressed in a black suit and comfortable shirt. Yeah, I could see that. But what he is doing now? No. Not gonna happen.
"He won't be able to play bass..."? Are you serious? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. And so is the rest of your supposition: "reserved and age appropriate...orchestra and black suit." Heh!

Age is how you feel in your mind, not a number. Paul will do what he believes he can do. Not what others "expect" him to do!

Here's a rumor: McCartney probably won't be returning to New Mexico on his next tour. And there's no room for your snide comments here. Let's leave this to legitimate and helpful information for fans.

Yeah, you're being real helpful. I don't have a rumor either, just like you. But I can predict, based on patterns of the last few years, Paul will likely play the U.S. and Latin America. And I long ago stopped giving a hoot whether he plays New Mexico ever again.

For the record, on page 11 of this thread, it was not ME who started the non-rumor comments. But I won't name names! But I have certainly contributed! Mea culpa!

It doesn't take much to figure out Paul won't be playing New Mexico!

Oh no, I want him so bad in Europe, South America is like distance from Earth to moon for me. And everyone are saying that he won't perform there in near future, because his shows are not selling as good as in both Americas. I'm so impatient and there is no real rumours from his team

Amsterdam was far from sold-out. Whole sections for the second gig were given away, standing tickets were going for a few tenners, and even sponsors did '2 for 1'-discount actions, unheard of.

He may never play Amsterdam again!

I didn't know about it until now! Do you know something about how tickets in 2013 in Poland had sold? I remember only, that tickets in first row was for very rich people. And maybe it was the reason why Live Nation dont want to invite him to us again.

I remember that the stage was moved several meters because tickets didn't sold as wished. I believe some blocks on the borders were dropped. The ticket price I paid for a standard front row ticket (~205 Euro) were the highest till now. 2009/13 I got front row tickets for 150-170 Euro.

And we pay $2000 in the U.S. for front row! (250 Euros = $271.92)
