Remembering Linda

^ Yeah, that is odd. And the photo is tilted! I thought maybe it was photoshopped because the photo is tinted blue, but here I found a normal b&w photo:
In looking more closely at it, I think it's just a clipping from a magazine page where there was a photo montage of the wedding... looks like the area has been cut around Paul and Linda and the photo pasted over another photo... just my opinion anyway

I agree! You can tell by looking at the edges of Paul and Linda.

She took some great photos of Jimi Hendrix.
We've seen the photos she took of Paul at the Sgt Pepper album launch in 1967... in fact, most all of her solo portraits that day were of him, but have you ever seen the photo of John Lennon she took that day? It turned out really good I think!

^ Ooh, Yes, I have never seen that pic before!

Wonder if she took portraits of George and Ringo that day too... we'll have to do an internet search and see if we can find any.
Caption on this photo of Paul (from Pinterest) says it was taken by Linda in 1967. The knotting on the tie looks like it was taken at a different time than the Sgt Pepper launch event. (Compare to Sgt Pepper launch photo)

This color photo, from Pinterest, also has caption that says it was taken in 1967 by Linda. Appears to be same tie he wore in first photo I posted in previous post.

^ But he has a black shirt on, whereas at the Sgt. Pepper launch party it was light-colored. Wonder if she didn’t take those pics after all. She only saw him on May 15th at night (and those are clearly daylight photos) and then on the 19th.

...and Paul's hair looks shorter (and more untidy) too, especially above his left eyebrow. I'm sure its from that same period ( he's wearing the same jacket) but probably taken a week or two before the Sgt Pepper launch party, by another photographer as you suggest.

I agree with both of you. I think someone wrongly thought Linda took the second group of photos in question, because he's wearing the same jacket... but the necktie/scarf and shirt are completely different. There is some speculation that Linda could spent more time with Paul after she met him and had breakfast with him the following morning where she could have taken a few photos... but that is a secret that only the two of them would know of course....

Found photos of Ringo and George that Linda took at the Sgt Pepper launch party.

In her biography written by her friend Danny Fields, he said that the day after she met him on the 15th Linda went to Paul’s home in London, but his friend “Stash” told her he had gone to Liverpool. He returned in time for the photoshoot in the park on the 18th. Nothing was mentioned about her seeing him on the 20th, but you never know!
Those are great pics in that link you shared! Lots I’d never seen!

Well, that was one good way of getting rid of her. "Stash" probably said the same thing to all the personal callers who Paul didn't want to see.

In that case he sure changed his tune about her, aye?

After the connection they had the evening before (and Paul making a move to talk to her) I doubt he wouldn't have wanted to see her. It's possible since "Stash" wasn't there he didn't know she was someone Paul WOULD have made time to talk to. When he told Paul later I'm sure he got a mock Seinfeld like thrashing... "She was here? Why didn't you tell me! "

I don't think he did. As I said in the reply to Kestrel, he might not have even been told she had stopped by until later... If Jane Asher was at home, I can't see him opening the door to any woman, lol

Oh, I don't know about that. Paul couldn't have been that keen as he didn't make any effort to see Linda for another year and even then,it was more by chance than design.

He certainly did. But a lot of what has been said about their early relationship has been told with the benefit of hindsight. Linda may well have caught his eye and he went out of his way to spend time with her but he would have done the same thing with dozens of other women too. The only difference is that he went on to marry Linda and not the other women so we never hear much about those encounters.
