Let's talk about Linda. She was his wife. They met in the band "The Wings". What Do you think? Did she really loved him or she was just another fan of his, who was crazy about him? Or Maybe not! Maybe she only married with him 'cuz he had a lot of money? Or Maybe she only wanted to had him for her self... I don't know... What about you?
Met him in the band? There was no Wings when they met. She ONLY joined Wings at Paul's request. But considering she couldn't play keyboards, and thus had to learn, she definitely had big cahonas to take on the challenge. In fact, she definitely had bigger cahonas than me! I say we'll done, Linda🫡️

I agree that Paul is carrying sadness within him. He hides it most of the time, but i think that you can see it in his eyes. Not that i have been that close to him, sadly!. He has had an amazing life but alot of grief also, starting with the loss of his Mother at 14. Do you ever get over losing your great love of 30 years? Linda was Paul's and he has learnt to live with her loss as everyone, at sometime in their lives, have to. Another lady has alot to live up to and to cope with his 'Ever Present Past'.
It's amazing how many associated with the Beatles, who died of cancer. George Harrison. Neil Aspinal. Derek Taylor. Maureen Starkey. Linda. Going even further back, Paul's mother. There's probably more I have forgotten.

Thanks for setting her straight wandy! Every Paul fan worth their salt should know Paul & Linda originally met by coincidence on May 15, 1967 at The Bag O’ Nails in London and on May 19th she was the only female photographer at the Sgt. Pepper Launch party!

Oour loss is heavens gain. I, as many, still miss Linda very much. Hard to believe 11 years went by. I hope Paul's found hapiness in Nancy but one things for sure he'll always have a speical place in his heart for his lovely lady Linda. Prayers and thoughts go out to the family today. I hope it's okay to post this. It's my Photobucket some of her pics throughout the years. http//s278.photobucket.com/albums/kk103/paulielover_2008/Linda%20McCartney/

Spelled Aspinall. And George Harrison’s mom had a brain tumor, Victor Spinetti and Eric Griffiths (Quarrymen) had cancer. Hugh McCracken had leukemia like Maureen Starkey. Cynthia Lennon also had cancer. Apr. 1, 2023 she will have been gone EIGHT years!

It's hard to believe that it has been 12 years since we lost the Lovely Linda. Her spirit lives on in Paul and their children as well as in the music and photographs she left behind for all of us to enjoy. LILY
OK I'm confused. My maths is terrible but even I can work out that if Linda died in 1998, its been a lot longer than 12 years

I feel so sad about Linda being gone.... She is someone whom I admire so very much.... I went to London to see her photo exhibit there in Saville Row and I have most of her books and music. She is truly one of a kind and my sympathies go out to Paul and to her children and family. I'm so glad that there are so many wonderful pictures and videos of her, so we can remember her by simply going to the web. I also love her cookbooks, she was such a talented cook!!! We love you Linda.... your presence and your love is still felt in our hearts... you were an inspiration to many and so so lovely. ![]
Did you notice the exhibition was directly next door to 3 Savile Row?

We had tickets to one of her photo exhibits in Liverpool in 2020, but lovely Covid hit so that effed it up for everyone! (got refunds)
P.S. Wandy, love 2travel wrote that post Apr. 18, 2010! Did you visit the exhibit in London then? -
