Was thinking of Linda's exhibit photo, with Paul's reflection in the mirror.
Hope I get to see that exhibit again and the Polaroid one as well!!!
Is this the photo you were thinking of? It's one of the best photos Linda took of him I think... of course there's so many good ones!
That is definitely a most THUD worthy photo! The photo I was thinking of was the gold framed mirror which might have been in the living room? There are a number of photos of reflections in that mirror. Can't really remember now, if I run across it I'll put the link up.
There was a really cool photo Linda took of various sized lava lamps, a Magritte painting and perhaps a tiny spotted Appaloosa horse, that I really loved. Was hoping for a print of that one and the glass teapot with the upsidedown trees...a couple of my favs of Linda's. I really enjoyed that exhibit and am hoping it's coming to NYC, her hometown. I wish now, that I had spent at least two days, to take it all in, properly. Can't wait to see her polaroid exhibit as well. The photo's that I had hoped to see again(and weren't there) was the tall one of Jimi, from the Gagosian in 2015, the one of Paul in Venice, on the balcony, platinum print... from the James Hyman Gallery in 2008 and I got to see the print in Barbados of the boys on the beach, at the Gagosian. I had noticed there were some of Linda's photos, not on exhibit, in a side room there, and one of the staff was nice enough to let me look at those too... That exhibit was so unique in that it had iPads with Linda's film strips, so you could see all of the photos taken with the film. Some of the photos, such as the one of Jimi's, really jumped out at you. That was a treat!
Wish I could see one of Linda's exhibits! But having the photo books is the next best thing I guess
Did you get the Polaroid book yet? Can't wait to get it!!! Really nice photo of Paul and Linda!
It is on my Amazon Wishlist. The price keeps coming down.

1978 With Ringo & Paul!
-
Great photo, Nancy! Paul looks so handsome and dapper in the pin-striped suit!
This is another copy of the same photo, with Ringo's girlfriend at the time, Nancy Andrews, at left.
-
Ringo was actually engaged to her right before he met Barbara. Would be funny if both he and Paul were married to Nancys!
P.S. Got the pic off FB and I see the year they stated was wrong. It's 1977, not 1978.

Pleased to see today that next year (i think it's from april) the Glasgow Linda exhibition will be in Liverpool at the walker art gallery. Apologies if this isn't new news and you already knew!

Does anyone know if Linda's famous roast is in a cookbook?
Wondering if the roast in Mary's cookbook is it?
-
Just read that at Linda's photo exhibit at the Walker Gallery in Liverpool next year, will include unseen photos of Liverpool and Wirral!
That's a really beautiful photo of Linda

I guess that video must date from 1977? Its a great shame the single wasn't a hit so the video had got more exposure at the time. It still seems strange seeing Linda perform without Paul.

The book arrived today - my mom got it for me for Christmas (obviously not a surprise as she had me order it on Amazon - she has never learned how to use a computer - she's 89!)
Anyway, the book is cool. Lots of never-before-seen pics of Paul and the kids mostly from the '70s and '80s.
