Remembering Linda

Love the photos from the 1984 photo session. I thought maybe the cute one posted above of him pretending to yell in her ear is also from the same time, but looks like she's wearing a different dress. Another photo session from about the same time was used on the cover of People magazine after Linda died. It's one of the best photo sessions of them both, I think.

They have different clothes on in all 3 pics and her hair is different, but still could be same photoshoot. Pretty sure I have that People mag.

Yes, could be from the same photoshoot. That People cover always makes me sad, I wish Linda was still with us...
Here's some other photos from the same year and/or session.

Caption for this photo says it's from 1969. I think they might have been at a movie premiere.

Great interview Paul gave about Linda, and her photography! Thanks for sharing this.
Couldn't help smiling when I read Paul's memory of he and Linda "just happening to be" in Los Angeles at the same time in June 1968, and they were content to just "do nothing". For whatever reason, he didn't elaborate on the fact that he had called her in New York to meet him there, and they later referred to it as their "naughty weekend" . I'm sure doing nothing could mean a lot of things (Perhaps "Inagadda da vida" was playing on the radio... cigarettes optional )

You beat me to it - I was going to say the same thing! Then he gets confused and mentions Magic Alex - he wasn’t there on that trip - he was at JFK airport in May 1968! Tony Bramwell and Ivan Vaughan were there in June 1968. Plus, that photo doesn’t look like it was taken at an airport! More like his bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Paul was also getting confused over the John and Paul 1968 photo. They were working out the sequencing of the White album tracks, months before they worked on the Abbey Road medley. I guess after 50 years plus, its easy to get confused.

We know his life better than he does!

Definately. Paul is no diffferent to any of us and is too busy living life in the moment and looking ahead. I guess he just doesn't have the time or the interest to keep track of everything he's done in the past. There are whole years in my life which are missing now unless I consult my diaries.

I guess I just have a better memory for things that happened in my life. Sometimes I can’t remember people’s names if they were only acquaintances, but I remember the names of kids I knew in Kindergarten! (a few of whom I saw last August at a high school reunion!)

Cute pic of Linda and James!

Love this one, and how she's holding his arm. Real Love
-
Love this one, I'm guessing 1968?
-
This one may be from circa 1991-1992.

Never saw either of those! The first one I think is 1969, shortly after they got married.
The other could be anywhere from 1990 to 1993. Kestrel, any idea?

The car was registered in 1992 so you're probably not far off.
