The other could be anywhere from 1990 to 1993. Kestrel, any idea?
The car was registered in 1992 so you're probably not far off.
How the hell can you see that?! ROTFLMAO!
The letter K prefix on the number plate denotes a 1992 registration of the vehicle.

Oh, I see! Here where I live, in Georgia, we keep the same license plate for years and just get a small sticker to put on the bottom right corner each year when we re-register right before our birthday.

That's interesting. So does each state have a different system of showing the year of first registration on their new cars? Applying stickers seems to be a bit odd, especially when it comes to dating the age of the car when it comes to selling it.

I don’t know. I’ve live in GA since 1973 when I was 18.
You can tell the year of the car by it’s VIN # (Vehicle Identification Number) And I think the month and year of manufacture is inside the door. I’ll have to check my car tomorrow. Plus, the title to the car and registration states the year of the car. The stickers come with your your registration paper each year.

Just spent a few days in Glasgow, to see the Linda McCartney retrospective. If you can possibly make it there, you won't be disappointed. This is the largest photo exhibit of Linda's that I've been to. Room after room of Linda's photos, cameras, diaries and a couple of film shorts put together by Paul. They were excellent!! Really enjoyed all of the Polaroid photos, displayed. There were also some Sun exposure photos

There are some never seen photos as well. It was very lovingly put together and a touching tribute to Linda. In addition, there was a great shop area around the exhibit. Many very reasonably priced items such as £10 prints of many of the photos, lots of postcards for £1 and pretty jewelry. My favorite was the real white daisies in clear beads, on necklaces and earrings. Purchased the new Wide Prairie album limited edition, in light blue, which was being played in the shop, T-shirts, cookbooks, lots of camera type items, Linda's books and much much more. Check out the Linda McCartney shop at the Kelvingrove Museum. They also have a large Pipe Organ with a concert every day. We enjoyed a concert by a gentleman from Liverpool, in the grand entrance hall. Also, very enjoyable.

Glasgow was a nice surprise with some of the nicest, kindest people I've met. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, no matter where we went. PEOPLE MAKE GLASGOW signs were everywhere and we felt the love. There was even a local Humanitarian group we saw every day, who went around feeding the homeless and passing out items that they might need. Wish we had that at home!
Hope some of you can get there during the exhibit, well worth the trip. The scenery was so beautiful as well, no wonder Linda loved Scotland so much.

Thanks, Nancy! That's one of my favorites, too! They look so happy. Love the kitten that Linda is holding. I think we posted before that the kitten was a present from Paul.

Just looking over some of the goodies from Linda's exhibit. Hoping to go back again, I hope that you all can somehow manage to go. I can't emphasize what a great exhibit it was!!!

Not sure this is Martha... could be one of her puppies or grandpuppies.

^ Just judging by Linda’s hairstyle, this looks later than 1981. Martha died in 1981 at age 15. This may be Arrow (who is on the cover of Paul Is Live)

Thanks! I was thinking the same thing, that it was the dog featured on the "Paul is Live" cover.

Such a beautiful photo of Linda... she always looks so happy when she's with an animal or her family.

Yes, she had a special love for animals and always took great care of them.
This is a photo Linda took of Paul and Martha in 1969

Linda with baby Mary, who will be 50 years old tomorrow!
