Yes, Im noticing the lock on the maccaboard link keeps showing itself unlocking and then it locks up again. Don't know enough about computers. Don't think it normally does that.
Say what?!

Yeah, I was reading something and not typing and noticed the little https lock before the maccaboard.paulmc etc. all of the sudden was unlocked and then shortly after was locked again. Strange because I wasn't typing. Not sure what that means, but it doesn't usually do that! Strange. Trying not to use my own emojis, maybe that are seen as a photo, although I've always used them before. I was hacked before, so I tend to notice strange computer stuff, although look at Twitter. So many people including Elon Musk, Obama and Biden were among people recently hacked. The Chinese are using Quantum Entanglement to safeguard their computers, and our anti Science country is going in the opposite direction in so many ways...wearing masks and listening to doctors for a quick example.

Well that is weird! I sent you a PM 10 hours ago (you wrote this post 8 hours ago) - aren't you getting the red circle with the white #1 inside it over the envelope (top right)?
You can use your own emojis here, like these are off my iPad: ️️
It is only when you are sending a PM you can only use this websites emojis. (box to right of Styles above when typing)

NancyR thanks for your help. Didn't realize about the emojis in the PM's Things seem OK now no messages lately. So fingers crossed.
Let's get back to Remembering Linda...
Her many kind and caring examples, her beautiful photography documenting the musicians and her family life, shared with the world. Her many great recipes shared through many cookbooks and her Linda McCartney line of vegetarian foods. Her great love and gentle caring of animals. Her contributions to music and her beautiful voice which blended and harmonized with Paul's so well.
Saw this painting at the Walker Gallery in Liver pool and it reminded me of Linda. It's called One of the Family.

Wow, that painting is amazing. It looks so much like the horse in Linda's photograph! Thanks for sharing, Love2Travel!
Have always loved this photo Linda took in New Orleans, of a pigeon that felt right at home with them.

Isn't that paintings wonderful, with the dog leaning on the woman, and the horse coming round to say hello and get a treat? You can easily imagine Linda in a similar setting.
Have never seen that photo by Linda, that is sooooo cool! I can see that animals were drawn to her. Linda the animal whisperer. Thanks so much for sharing that photo, I love her photo eye... she was very multi talented

Haven't seen this one before, but absolutely love it. The instagram user who posted it dated it from late 1960s, but I'm guessing it's circa 1970-1972. Not sure what the piece of paper is in front of them, but it must have been important at the time.

Such a sweet happy photo

You could say some of the best pictures of Paul are the ones with Linda in them... you can really see that at her photo exhibits. Hope I can get to the exhibits.

Yes, Paul always sparkles in every photo she took, or when he was next to her in one. Once this coronavirus scare is over, hopefully there will be more museum exhibits of Linda's photos. So many of us would like to see them, especially in the USA.

September, 1976 - Paul and Linda in Venice, Italy

Such a cool Venice photo, I remember Paul did a version of O Solo Mio, maybe it was during that time period. Wish I could have seen that show in St. Mark's there, how very cool and a great photo. How did people even find out about the shows then?
The photo in the bathroom really shows Lindas long piano playing, camera holding fingers. That is some cool tile in there! Paul is so into Linda!
-
Have always loved the photo of Paul and Linda in the mirror. That must have been taken when they first moved in together.
The Venice photo is very cool. They look so happy, and it must have been a very happy time for them!
This is a family photo taken at the same time, and a photo of Paul and Linda with "Wings"

I think the Wings Fun Club mentioned the concert in advance and also in the weekly music press. Post-concert there was coverage in the daily press about how the weight of equipment used for the show sunk Venice a few more inches !!!

So wish I knew about the Wings Fun Club back then, would have really loved that info and would have seen the show with the jugglers and the Egypt Station curtain. Also wish I was getting the Club Sandwich newspapers. Prolly would have ordered Linda's calendars too!
I thought I had read about the sinking of Venice a bit from that show. Sure that was unexpected. Venice is the City of Love and Paul and Linda really looked like boyfriend and girlfriend in that gondola such a cute couple.
