Remembering Linda

in a vanity fair magazine article linda said of herself and paul, i don't know if we'll stay together. kind of cool of her to be
so casual. she wasn't bragging or gloating that she had him.

Parts of this board are non functional. Posting a youtube video where you're supposed to doesn't really work. It only stays there for an hour or less. I sure wish someone would fix it. This has been on my wishlist of fixes for this board.
Anyway, I bet you were trying to post this.... https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLtd6KRb90Px2_o2kji_VuoBEI931lT9LA

Oobu, thanks so much for posting the links to Linda's retrospective. I so hope to get to that show and I hope they have as nice of a shop as the one in Glasgow!
I've been to the Walker Gallery before, however, I only had about 4-5 hours between trains. It is such an awesome gallery. Also really love all the pre Raphaelites in their collection and in that area of the UK. There are quite a few William Waterhouses within about an hour drive from Liverpool. William Holman Hunt and also Eleanor Fortescue-Brickdale are two excellent painters in the Walker. It has quite a number of extremely large paintings and when I was there, it was evocative of an older type museum with paintings hung from floor to ceiling. If you can make it to Linda's exhibit, by all means, it was excellent. Will have to spend two days there!!! Looking forward to it.

I hope that maybe one day they will bring that exhibit here.

I really hope and expect they will. Was supposed to see this show and the Polaroids show in Berlin in June I wanted to see this one for her Liverpool photos, just as the one in the US will have her American photos. Looking forward to seeing my museum buddy and my friends near Preston too!!!

Yes, I remember you saying that you were going.

Love this photo of Paul and Linda. I'm guessing it's circa 1979, because Paul has the "Back to the Egg" hairstyle he wore in the music video for "Arrow Through Me," and the jacket looks like one he wore in the BTTE special that was broadcast.

That video was missing for a while, you could only see the Spanish one. Glad it’s back, that’s such a beautiful song. There really is such thing as a winter rose.

Yes, he does look especially gorgeous in that one, doesn't he! *SWOON AND THUD*
Love this one that Linda took, it's my very favorite (until I see another gorgeous photo of him and then that will be my favorite )

Back on topic! (but we can still appreciate Paul!)

Love this painting and wonder if Paul still has it?
