Do you think Paul will answer this one? Why is "bird" in so many of the recordings of both Beatles and your solo work? I heard it's a sex-est term in British slang
"Bird" just means girl or chick in British slang. I've never heard it was sexist.
Doesn't mean anything to me..I just wondered. Pobably won't get answered..so I'm not going to fret about it. : I also noticed the word Randy is never used..but that's a really DUMB question, right? ops:

He's been in the business for 50ish years now, so I can't imagine he's not heard every question people ask him at least a dozen times. The pressure is hitting me to be original! I know! "I heard that George was a good ukulele player...is that true?"

I'm not sure why PM.com posted this elsewhere on the forum and not here, but here is what they wrote: "Hi all, we?ve read your comments on ?You Gave Me The Answer? so we thought we?d let you know it?ll run like this: PaulMcCartney.com will be selecting a handful of questions from those submitted, they will be passed to Paul and he will then answer his favourite one. Check back to the website towards the middle / end of February for the first question and answer!"

I know a few of really interesting questions I want to ask. Like some mystery of something. Like why is there no K in his Magic if he is The King Of Cosmania? I posted that elsewhere. But I doubt he is going to reveal that, or the other ones I really, really want to know. And another one, which involves another anagram, about being a Fireman. oh well... Just thinking on it makes a light bulb go off in my mind!

How much you want to bet that the question he answers is "Beatle" related - LOL

when he introduces Blackbird live he use to say "We use to call girls 'birds' in England"

I like that question. It is sexist when you think about it.

I think the other way around would be more interesting. I mean Paul asking questions to us... He has been asking all kinds of things but sure he has some doubts of what we think about many things.

I'm not sure..you may be thinking of a different word(doubt) Maybe..curious? He would never ask us questions..if he wants to know what we are thinking, all he needs to do is have his mods look in on this forum..right? :

It's funny but when I had to choose one question I didn't know what ask...like when you are at school and forgot all that you studied for a test...I know that the posibility that I have one answer is remote, but I was still nervous. At last my question was about his feelings about Beatles if he feels in doubt with the band or if he plays more Beatles songs in his concerts because he thinks is the better part of his career...I'll wait for the "answer"
I get a fellin' some people here are anti-Beatle..common, The Beatles were the beginning of it all!! The group was so much a part of the phenomenon. If you like Wings more..so be it. But allow us OLDIES to have some fond memories, OK?

Yes, doubts, he seems suprised when people likes post 1973 stuff he plays at concerts. Like when he played again Hope Of Deliverance recently. Like "so you really like me to play this one?" Actually this website send us questions recently.

You see, that is a way of interacting with the audience. Like when he has a sing-a-long..people like that. He really is being somewhat sarcastic..
