Well good luck you guys. I am disappointed as I already signed up for 14 days training which takes me out of DC area at that time in August should not have agreed to summertime dates... Oh Well....I am sad to miss but I will see Paul in Hershey day after my Bday so that is a comfort. Hope tickets are easier to get!!
-
Really hope we get a second date...because there won't be anything worthwhile left for this concert when the general sale goes on Monday. Are all the tickets electronic entry? This is the first I've read of that.

I called TicketMaster (existing order department) and they are going to send my ticket when they are printed via UPS, instead of having to swipe my credit card. I don't quite trust that method. I should have checked delivery method when I ordered but at that point my eyes were hurting from verifying so many images. My seat is center on the main concourse. I was about to give up at 10:45 this morning then up popped something decent. Would have preferred the side that Wix plays on but settled on what I could get at face value.

You're really lucky you got something! I also hate those image verification things. Sigh.

Storm here so we lost electricity. No problem, I thought, my iPad is fully charged. But no elec. meant no internet connection. Finally used a lot of data on my tiny screen, old smart phone. Nothing that I wanted came up. Very hard to read screen and I kept hitting wrong button for password, etc. Bottom line, no tix for me. On Monday I will be at the dentist under sedation during the regular sale. Don't want to put this appointment off to buy tix. So not sure what to do. I thought I read somewhere about a phone app that has a pre-sale. Anyone know anything about this? Even though it is very difficult to buy with a smart phone I may try it. Any ideas IF they announce a second date when that would be and when would tix go on sale? If it is Monday I guess I'll be out of luck because I'll be at dentist for hours and then will be really out of it. Sorry for such a long post. Frustrated. Typing this at the library computer as my elec. is back on but all of Comcast (phone, TV, internet) is still out.

When shows have been adding in the past, it has been during the general sale...but who knows

Let's cross our fingers for Monday!! Luckily, there do seem to be a couple of tickets on the secondary market for something fairly close to face value. I'm hoping that if we really have no luck during the general sale and there's no 2nd date added, the gods will be kind to us in the secondary market.

If I didn't have Gold tix for Philly, I'd be surveying the scalper tix right now, but I don't think I can bring myself to that knowing I have a safe pair of seats. I'd rather just wait it out and see what I can find a few days before the show. I just looked on Little Rock on TM and there was one pair of tickets available in the whole place dead center second row for $250 each.

if the ticket is paperless, there would not have been a delivery choice, so you did not miss anything. paperless means no printed ticket at all. You have to bring your credit card. I would doublecheck with Ticketmaster because I am not aware that you could get a printed ticket when it is a paperless order. otherwise they would not bother to sell the tickets that way and the scalpers would get all of their orders converted. I would call TM again and doublecheck what you were told because that agent may have made a mistake.

Why is TicketMaster's presale so f....d up? I went on again out of curiosity what would come up; only VIP packages come up. It's like playing a game only after years of being a typist, my fingers are no longer as flexible. The system must only bring up an actual ticket once on the half hour or so! I can't believe I got an actual ticket at 10:45 a.m.; actually, I won't believe it till I receive the ticket I have on order. Seems the VIP packages are no problem to get.
-
The latest in computer games.....TicketMaster's presale website....an actual non VIP seat seems to come up one every 30 minutes or so it seemed between 10 and 11 this morning. Someone did not make a good choice in choosing this way to sell tickets to fan site members.
-
I checked TicketMaster's website to confirm they had my order in again. They do but they didn't have the number of my condo inputted. I got on line for an assistant and he said my ticket should ship via UPS tomorrow. After the online chat I took their survey and told them how I felt about their site's presale for tickets that are not VIP.
-
I just checked and of course no "regular" priced seats were available. The "silver" package seats at the far end of the arena are $475 each. I had 5th row floor dead center in 2005 for $200; the same seat is $1,600 this tour. Well, sadly, I've attended every concert in D.C. since 1990 but that streak looks very likely to end.
-
I can't believe tickets came up at 10:45! I did reload the page for a while and then periodically thereafter. The only thing I got to come up in all that time was seats in 415 (way up the top nosebleeds) for $125 ea. I didn't get those - that is too much money for such far away seats. I did also see the cheapest "VIP" seats, which were $475 to not even be on the floor. I still can't believe that there was nothing else available when the actual tickets went on sale.

Sounds like the $475 seats were in Section 121 which is what I was trying for. I did get the next section over to come up but lost the seat when I entered the wrong security code for my credit card. What I got to come up at 10:45 a.m. was Section 111 in the middle and by that time, I was ready to call it quits. I have been trying the website throughout the day seeing what comes up and it's only VIP. I am so curious how many presale regular seats that were given out!
-
Wow, that is amazing that that is all that came up in all the time. I'm really curious how many seats came up too. What a fail of a pre-sale! I've never experienced anything like it!
-
HERE IS WHERE THE FAN PRE-SALE TICKETS ARE..... A good amount and selection is there at a scalper's price. Don't remember how that website came up but there are the tickets that supposedly were set aside for the Fan Pre-sale. We were competing with people from a ticket agency with no doubt top grade computers!
-
Yeah, stubhub had a ton of ridiculously overpriced tickets this morning as well. There's no way to compete with these scalpers with scripts that can just grab up all the tickets faster than a human. This is still the first time I came away totally empty-handed though.
-
I figured out why we had so much frustration with the pre-sale this past Wednesday. Noticed another ticket agency has loads of seats available. The general sale starts Monday but it looks like if you want to get a face value ticket they are already in the hands of a ticket agency. With the money I was able to save with the pre-sale, I was able to find nice summer weight cardigans at Target with money left over. I am assuming the Verizon Center will be freezing when we first go in!
-
Section 106 (end of the arena) popped up under the silver package for $475 but today my friend bought through the AMEX sale in section 110 (side of arena, closer to stage) for $250 each. Ticket prices are all over the place.
