It was in July 2005 so he was 63. Agree, he sounded great! (And looked great too!)

A while back someone posted a photo of Paul at a piano holding a bunch of money. I knew it was from a sketch he did on some show. One of my friends just happened to send me the video! (The Mike Yarwood Show)

Thanks for sharing , Nancy. The sketch was filmed on 10th December 1977 and shown on BBC1 on Christmas Day. Definately a product of its time.

Thanks for finding this, Nancy!
What struck me in watching it was Linda's semi-English accent at the beginning. She had a lovely way of speaking.
Are the posters on the wall publicity for Wings at the Speed of Sound or perhaps London Town, that would be released the following March?

Underneath the video it says this, though:
Paul McCartney, Linda and Denny of Wings at "The Mike Yarwood Christmas Show" in 1978.
This was recorded on December 10, 1978 and shown on BBC1 on December 25.But as usual, you are correct sir!

HaHa! I didn’t even notice the posters - too busy looking at Paul! One looks like from Venus & Mars photoshoot!

The one on the far left looks to be from London Town album.

Paul IS a genius! Fingers Crossed for a lot of Wings, Paul & Linda, solo Paul and Classical projects because there are so many Paul fans everywhere who need Paul's upbeat and joyful music and message. Especially in these days of darkness, we need Paul's light and love in song, every single day of the week!!!
