Would be interesting to hear his memories of that time, too.
-
I entered to win the grand prize. It'd be great to see him in concert and hopefully talk to him about Jimmy.
-
This is just sad.
-
Sorry for asking a dumb question, but why do we think is Denny participating in this promotion?

This is just sad.
I'm on the fence. Now THIS is sad:
-
You wanna know how sad? You Tube his performances of the last couple if years. Woeful.
-
Has Paul done any projects with any of the surviving members of Wings?

Projects? Mmmm.. Tug of War/Pipes. I think Laine played on those sessions. Paul did play with Thaddeus Richard(?) from the Wings horn section, on Lady Madonna, I think. Back in 2002.

And around that time Paul and Laurence Juber played on Ringo's Stop and Smell the Roses. Paul and Laurence J. are apparently still friendly, though not best buddies or anything.

He's going to be performing with the McCartney Years (Tribute band to Wings) later this year into 2015.
They are MUCH better than the band Denny usually has these days. -

Denny Seiwell demonstrated his drumming in that manner to us in Cancun. The rest of the time he played live with a band. It wasn't sad, it was interesting!

I prefer Denny playing his own solo material. Saw him in Glasgow 2008 and he played loads of solo album tracks. Superb stuff.

I've seen Denny and also Laurence Juber play in the past 6 months and have enjoyed them both! Was really happy to hear the Wings songs! The singers that Denny had when I saw him were excellent. Wish Paul would play more Wings, but was extremely happy to hear them from a member of Wings and I will go hear him again!

Who knows....Paul might join him for a song or two. 'Twould be a fine thing.

Not as sad as some videos I've seen of Pete Best performing at BeatleFests.

I just saw Denny last month here in Chicago. That Denny factor in Wings that I've always liked is still there. It was good to hear "Picasso's Last Words", "Richard Cory", "Again and Again and Again", "No Words", "Deliver Your Children", "The Note That You Never Wrote", etc. I wasn't born in time to see Wings live, so it was a special treat for me to hear these in the original voice. Rumor has it that Denny wants to come back to Chicago to do the "Venus and Mars" album. Sure there won't be Paul, Jimmy, Linda, Geoff, or Joe...but I'm just happy that those songs are still being done live somewhere.
