Does anyone know a good place to go after the show within walking distance of the arena? Somewhere for a late dinner & maybe a drink or two?
Thirsty Fellow looks like it might be good if you like pizza (also have a BBQ tofu sandwich). http://www.thirstyfellow.com/http://www.thirstyfellow.com/ And then there's IHOP.
Ha ha. IHOP would be good for a tall glass of chocolate milk.
Probably a better idea than beer. Note that Thirsty Fellow actually closes at midnight, not 2 AM as Google claims. Still might be enough time for an aftershow meal.
Anything on Gervais St. is good. It's 3 blocks northwest of the arena and it is filled with restaurants and bars and a few shops.

So some should be open after the concert for food and drinks?

The only place I could find that claims to be open past midnight is the Hickory Tavern. Here is fixed link for Thirsty Fellow, btw. http://www.thirstyfellow.com/

Are the temps still expected to be brutal and humid like I have been seeing all week (high 90s to over 100F)? So glad this is an indoor show.

Yes, it is forecast to be just as hot but perhaps less humid. If it was outdoors it would probably be his hottest show ever. Milwaukee '13 and Dallas '09 would be close.

Take it from a South Carolinian when I tell you that Columbia the hottest city in the state without a doubt, and probably the hottest city in the South.

I really hope he doesn't weigh in on the confederate flag debate tonight. personally i'm sick of it

I'm just trying to save for my wedding. And a house. I was offered a 6th row seat and I had to turn it down. Now I'm sad. I should have taken it but I just don't have $250 to spare right now. ops:

I SO agree. I won't be there but my fiancée was saying how he will probably make a comment about that. Yeah, I like Paul better when he keeps his political views to himself.
