Fantastic! I can't believe it's only 2 months away. It doesn't seem like 4 months since they announced it all.

I suppose my place would be too much to hope?

Can anyone tell me exactly how far back this is? It's a Diamond priced ticket but it doesn't look like AAMI Park is astronomically huge either. Not sure....
-
It looks to be about middle of the floor off to Rusty's side.

I wanna hear "Oke to a Koal beer"!!!!

According to the link below, the field is 136m long, so maybe you could work out a rough estimate based on that? https://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melbourne_Rectangular_Stadium&ved=0ahUKEwi45sjeyIfXAhXIopQKHUkVDTcQFggcMAA&usg=AOvVaw2TQaFrcLJ78ckKvZsTgdhc Also, the seating plan for Brisbane actually has a few measurements on it if you download it and zoom in. The layout is the very similar to Melbourne, and so you might be able to work out a very good estimate of the distance to the equivalent seat. Cheers, Andrew.

You can go and have a look, actually. If you go up the stairs, there's a big glass wall to one side and you can see right out onto the field.

I've been wondering this myself and have been meaning to start a separate thread to find out whether the listed start times usually refer to the DJ set, the "pre-show", or the concert itself...

For ours here the start time was always given as 8 PM, which is the time Paul is expected on stage, though he was frequently 30-45 minutes late. The DJ usually started before 8, followed by the pre-show, which runs until Paul appears. The door open time is usually given too, and, depending on the venue, is usually 6:30 or 7. No idea how it works in Australia though!

What happens if you do Soundcheck? Do you wait around in the stadium until the doors open or do you go out and come back in?

Here you stay in the venue. They reserve a place somewhere for everyone to have a catered dinner and hang out before taking their seats.

Oh my god, it's not long now! I can't wait! I'd love to meet Paul at the airport. Anyone got any ideas on how to go about it/find out/make a guess at his flight arrival? It would be a domestic flight so he might even come into Essendon on a charter, I have no clue. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, I was wondering about that. I can't really see him getting the SkyBus from Tullamarine!
