https://www.paulmccartney.com/news-blogs/news/paul-takes-his-one-on-one-tour-to-japan http://oneonone-japantour.jp/ If I understand it correctly, pre-sale goes from January 1st (11 AM) to January 9th (11:59 PM). Can someone who reads Japanese confirm it? http://md.pia.jp/pia/event/event.do?eventBundleCd=b1646341

This is what I was afraid of. Looks like presale and general ticket sales will only be through Ticket Pia/Lawson, and other Japanese outlets. That makes it very difficult to buy tickets unless you are already in Japan. I long for the old days...LOL...of Crowdsurge. I was able to easily obtain tickets for the cancelled 2014 shows in Japan and Korea only to have the rescheduled dates available only through Japanese ticket outlets! Hopefully I'm wrong and tickets will be available to those outside of Japan.

Is general sale directly after this "lottery"? Because I'm thinking that if he doesn't do Australia I'll just have to fork out for airfares and see him in Japan. Cheaper than going to America to see him. The only downside I can see, from watching the 2013 Tokyo Dome show, is that most of the audience interaction is in the local language with subtitles when he speaks English. And I don't think I can afford a ticket for my friend who speaks fluent Japanese.

I've never watched that whole show video, but my experience having been at the first two Tokyo Dome shows was that Paul basically has some words phrases that he knows in the local lingo, but that's about it and he was speaking English aside from those words phrases. I know just a few words / phrases of Japanese myself, so I guess I'd be in the same boat as you in regards to this, and it wasn't a problem at all!

Ok so I'm currently living here, I'd love to buy tickets but it's all in japanese!

Can anyone provide info on how to access presale tix through paulmccartney.com ? This is quite possibly a goer since it's quiet re Australia- hopefully if that's on the cards someone will say something very soon!

Hi Chriska, Having bought tickets via Crowdsurge for the Japanese shows in 2013 and 2015), my memory is that the pattern for these three tours was for the PM presale to come last (maybe a day or two before general public onsale) after three or four rounds of pre-sales via Japanese ticket agencies (most or all via lottery). In 2013, an email from PM.com alerted me in advance. In 2014, I had no advance warning and missed out on decent seats, so I didn't go (lucky for me!). I believe that the pre-sale occurred with no advance warning except a tweet on Paul's Japaneze language Twitter account. In 2015, there was advance notice of the onsale through various forums including PM.com (but again mentioned first on the Japanese Twitter account). Hope that helps! Cheers, Andrew.
