Where's Paul been lately?

Pains me to say it but that is awful picture and IMO the first not very good picture I have ever seen of Nancy. I understand they are at the beach but I have seen many nice pictures of them on the beach and this is not one of them. Oh well, we all regret some pictures our ourselves at times and this is one of those times for them IMO.

^^ I totally agree Yankeefan. Those pics are terrible! He should have worn a hat!

That is a different look for him, and couldn't help wondering if he and his grandkids (if they're there) were just having fun and acting silly and did his hair like that... or if he was getting ready to put a facial mask on, maybe that's why he tied his hair up... but he has always been a trendsetter!
Have to admit, even if he chose to wear his hair like Pippi Longstocking, I'd still think he was cute!

Not only that, these are papparazzi shots, not I'm on tour or in the recording studio shots. Paul and his family are on vacation having private time, they shouldn't have to care how they look. I sure as heck don't look my best when I've been at the beach when I've been in the water and having some relaxing time.

Paul and his family are completely aware that there is rarely a time when they can not be photographed. For years now, Paul and Nancy must have seen pictures of themselves on beach at St. Bart. If they don't care, that is fine. I understand they are at the beach and should not have to look glamorous -lol.

It is not just the hair, men close to 80 IMO do not look their best with their shirt off. I am in my late 60's and I am in pretty darn good shape but I wear a shirt when swimming. One reason is I look better with shirt on and the 2nd is to protect my skin from the sun. In the end, it is one not so good picture but there are so many other good ones.

Technically not a man-bun. Looks more like Cindy Lou Who from the Grinch Who Stole Christmas!

I agree that they know their pics are being taken. That is what happens in their life.

If this was the look he was after...well...he missed!

Usually when Paul goes on holiday,he'll make a deal in advance with the photographers that if he allows them access to shoot as many photos as they want at the start of the holiday, they'll leave Paul alone for the rest of the holiday. That arrangement usually works as most of his holiday photos all appear at the same time and then it goes quiet for the rest of his stay.

There are some cultures where a top knot ponytail is considered a symbol of authority, and rugged masculinity...
Take Toshiro Mifune in "Shogun" (the mini-series with Richard Chamberlain)
Or Kirk Douglas in Spartacus (blush...)Â Oh, wait.. his ponytail was a little farther back on the crown of his head, can't see it very well in this pic..

Sounds like a good deal to me, just get it over with and proceed to enjoy.

That was just some guy that showed up when I googled man bun. And thinking of that now, I guess an entirely different set of pics could have shown up. lol!

I checked the Daily Mail link again and it's interesting there's 4100+ comments on Paul's hair... and from the one page of comments I saw, no one is saying anything about the good work he did on McCartney III! AmazingÂ

Why would they mention Mac3? More than half of them probably don't even know he has a new album.

What I meant was.. they can take the time to talk about his hair, but when it comes to more important things, they seem to have no clue!

Paul McCartney, 78, enjoys boat trip with wife Nancy, 61, in St. Barts
