Any news or rumours about new album?

Surely the best and the brightest of today could pull this off. Can't they?

For about the past 25 years, Paul has been going at a very steady pace, almost like clockwork: an album of new pop/rock material about once every four years (on average). He seems to feel that's enough so that there's enough anticipation built up for something new. He's very methodical. Meanwhile, anything else he does is just "gravy," I think. I'm happy to see him experiment, and I think Mr. Spock is right: we shouldn't expect a full-blown pop/rock album till 2017. Also, consider how lukewarm some people here were about the "New" album and the Collector's Edition bonus tracks. If he put out albums more frequently, there would just be more "substandard" material to criticize, from that standpoint. But not ME, mind you, I enjoy most of what he does... but I appear to be in the minority....
Don't forget that ten years ago we were just a few months out from Chaos and Creation coming out that was followed in quick order by Memory Almost Full (2007) and then the Fireman Electric Arguments in 2008. It felt almost like the 70s again. Something tells me the Fireman is listening for the alarm to sound and will respond quickly, as in next year (can always hope) with a new shiny album.
Hope the Fireman hears this!
. The alarm has sounded, for more Fireman music!! And There Ya Go.... -

Wish his new output would be like "ten years ago" with that triple homerun of C& C, Memory and Fireman Hope a new Fireman would be like his last , with lyrics and singing With words

A new Fireman album would be nice. Wasn't there some talk about this being the case?

Well, if he keeps singing songs like 'Maybe I'm Amazed' and songs that demands a big vocal effort, he will probably lose his voice faster than he should.

I think we're already there, sadly. Studio technology is his friend.

Exactly. Anyway, I think Paul doesn't care too much about that. After 50 years of life dedicated to music, is evident that memories are more important than present. 'New' was a good work, but, what means 'New' in Paul's career? just one more work.
