When it was number 1 in the UK for 9 weeks back in 77 I know I certainly associate it with Christmas
Well, that is how you associate it and that is cool. But a song being a hit in December doesn't make is a Christmas song. It isn't a Christmas song.

No Mull or Penny Lane? Are you ****ing kidding me?
Liverpool isn't in Scotland
I find it ridiculous he will only play Mull in Scotland or where there are large Scottish populations. I'm Latino and I love that song!
I'm not going to argue with that, especially seeing as he refuses to play in Scotland, but why would you expect Mull of Kintyre in Scotland!?! Penny Lane yes, Early Days/On My Way to Work maybe but Mull no!! And its associated with Christmas here in the UK because it was a christmas number 1 - he played it in Liverpool in 2012 in December.

In the UK it is very much considered a Christmas song. It and Pipes of Peace are heard everywhere at Christmas. Paul played it in London at Christmas in 2009 and Liverpool at Christmas in 2011, looks like you need to correct his misgivings about it being a Christmas song too.

I'm fully aware that he played Scotland in 2010 (I was there) but that was 5 years ago, before that it was 20 years ago and before that it was 11 years ago. So 3 gigs in 36 years (2 as a solo artist) is not what I would consider a great deal.

I hope the very drunken women that lit candles, took her shoes off took her bra off, poor beer over her feet and the people sat in front, kept throwing a rubber ball in the air, then tore her legging off and had a wee in her seat before having three cigs while the show was on is not one of the folk on the board. Total shocking behaviour. Way to much side boob on show for a big women

Aren't you glad you don't live in Australia I don't think he toured oz since the 70s

Any idea WHY he didn't go to AUSTRALIA after Seoul????? That would have been the easiest time. So sorry for you down there!

Because he doesn't do those types of tours anymore. If he ever tours Australia again it will be a seperate tour.

What you people think, is this last gig in Liverpool for Paul Mccartney?
-
Few final thoughts on the gig.. He sounded great he really did, Song choice was pretty good not much i would have taken out (helter skelter maybe), Video backdrops a bit poor but if im honest it made me concentrate more on Paul than be distracted by them, The rising platform a real headsctratcher that one it looks nice but for what was it 2 songs? or so on it does seem like an indulgance and really doesnt need to be there, let the people be closer than that there if he did half the show on it then yes i can understand it but not for some so underused. Other than that a great night.

About that platform...if he really wants to get closer to the audience or he wants the audience to see him...I've said before that he should do like Pink & kinda rubberband out into certain spots like on a pillar...lol. Then everyone could get a look at him!
